Top Tables Update: Round 9
We’re in the final Swiss Round of Day 1 at YCS Orlando! Check out the Deck breakdown currently at the top 20 tables!
Bystial Maliss Decks have increased their representation at the top 20 tables, with 11 Duelists now piloting the Deck. Ryzeal and Maliss strategies continue to prevail at the top tables. 20 of the 40 Duelists at the top 20 tables are using some variant of a Ryzeal Deck, while 14 of the 40 Duelists at the top 20 tables are using some variant of a Maliss Deck. Fiendsmith cards are also popular at the top 20 tables, with 17 Duelists at the top 20 tables incorporating Fiendsmith cards into their Decks. The new Mitsurugi theme from Supreme Darkness appears to have found its home in Decks paired with Ryzeal cards, as 5 Duelists at the top 20 tables made it there piloting Mitsurugi Ryzeal Decks. A bunch of interesting Decks have a lone Duelist playing them at the top 20 tables too, including Mimighoul and Toy Azamina White Forest.
Tomorrow, we’ll see 3 more Swiss Rounds, followed by a cut to the Top 64. From there, 6 single-elimination rounds will be played out until only one Duelist – the champion of YCS Orlando – remains.
