Registration for the Genesys Remote Duel YCS will require two steps:
- STEP 1: Based on your country of residence, you may register online or by visiting one of the OTS listed below for the Genesys Remote Duel YCS.
- STEP 2: Once Duelists have registered for the Genesys Remote Duel YCS at the OTS corresponding to their country of residence, all Duelists will then go into NEURON to submit their Genesys Deck List.

There will not be any registration to the Genesys Remote Duel YCS outside of the pre-registration and late registration windows provided above. All Duelists who register during the late registration period listed above will receive a Match Loss for Round 1.
Latin America Remote Duel YCS Registration Information
Q: How do I enter the Genesys Remote Duel YCS?
A: Depending on your country of residence, you will pay the equivalent to the cost of the booster packs specified in the table above to receive the same number of booster packs of the current release Chaos Origins (CORI), and registration in the event. Please refer to the Registration Site List above for the number of booster packs required for entry into this YCS.
Q: How do I register for the Genesys Remote Duel YCS?
A: All registrations for the Genesys Remote Duel YCS will be done via one of the Tournament Organizers assisting KDE-US in hosting this event from the list posted at the beginning of this FAQ. There will be at least one (1) OTS accepting registration for the Genesys Remote Duel YCS in most countries within Latin America. If your country of residence is not listed, please see the What should I do if my country of residence is not listed on the registration site list? section below.
Duelists are required to have a mailing address in a Latin American country to participate in this event. When you register for the event, you will indicate where you would like your participation prizes to be shipped (to a local OTS or to your residence) or if you would like to pick them up directly from the OTS you registered at for the Genesys Remote Duel YCS.
Q: How do I turn in my Deck List for the Genesys Main Event?
A: Once you have registered for the Genesys Remote Duel YCS at the OTS corresponding to your country of residence, you will then go into NEURON to submit your Genesys Deck List. The Genesys Remote Duel YCS will appear in the Confirm/Manage My Tournaments section on the Events tab between 24 and 48 hours after you register for the event.
- If it has been more than 48 hours since you registered and the event is not showing up in NEURON please contact la-opsupport@kde-us.com. Please provide your full name, the CARD GAME ID used to register for the Genesys Remote Duel YCS, and the name of the OTS where you registered.
- Once a Deck List has been submitted, you can update and resubmit it up until the Deck List deadline of 12:00 PM CST Wednesday, September 16th, 2026.
- Duelists who do not submit their Deck Lists by this deadline will automatically forfeit their reserved seat. To request a refund, they must contact the OTS through which they registered, provided that all booster packs received remain unopened.
- Deck Lists must be submitted through NEURON. Physical copies of a Deck List will not be accepted onsite for the YCS.
Q: Who is eligible to compete in the Genesys Remote Duel YCS?
A: To take part and compete in the Genesys Remote Duel YCS, a Duelist needs to meet the following criteria.
Duelists must have NEURON downloaded and set up with their CARD GAME ID on their smart device to compete in the Genesys Remote Duel YCS and be in good standing. You can click here for a full guide on how to link your CARD GAME ID to your NEURON App.
- Suspended Duelists are not considered to be in good standing and may not register or compete
- Duelists must have a mailing address in a Latin American country.
- Duelist must have stable internet connection.
- Duelists will need a webcam, smartphone or tablet to display their field to their opponent.

A: If you reside in Latin America and your country of residence is not listed above, please email opsupport.lat@devir.com and state that you would like to participate in the Genesys Remote Duel YCS but reside in a country without an OTS hosting Registration.

Q: What is the format for the Genesys Remote Duel YCS?
A: The Genesys Remote Duel YCS will use the 100 Points cap for Deck-building. Click the link below for the current Genesys Points list. Genesys Deck List must be submitted through NEURON, the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG support app.

Genesys rules are simple:
- No Link Monsters or Pendulum Monsters are allowed. All other cards are allowed. The original field layout is used, with no Extra Monster Zones nor Pendulum Zones.
- The standard Forbidden & Limited Cards list is not used. All those cards can be used, except Link Monsters and Pendulum Monsters. Usual limit of 3 copies max of any card still applies.
- Deck construction uses a point system. Some cards are assigned a point value; most cards cost zero points. The total point cost of cards in your Main Deck, Extra Deck, and Side Deck (combined) cannot exceed the point cap for that event.
Certain types of card effects involving Private Knowledge cannot be successfully resolved in Remote Duel and are considered to be Forbidden in Remote Duel only.
Cards Forbidden in Remote Duel are not Forbidden for in-person play, therefore they are not displayed on the Genesys or Traditional Format Forbidden & Limited List.
Please consult with the Head Judge for the event if you have questions about the legality of cards in your Deck.

Genesys Remote Duel YCS 2026 EVENT INFORMATION
This will be a two-day Remote Duel tournament using the Genesys 100 Points cap for Deck-building Constructed Decks in the Swiss format:

Genesys Remote Duel YCS Information
Q: What is Remote Duel?
A: Remote Duel is Sanctioned Organized Play hosted in a virtual environment, run on designated Discord servers. To participate, TCG Duelists will need a webcam, smartphone or tablet to display their field to their opponent. These events are perfect for Duelists that want to play from the comfort of their homes or are unable to travel to in-person YCS events!

- You are responsible for a stable internet connection and a working Remote Duel setup in order to participate in a Remote Duel event.
- If you lose your video feed, have excessively lagging or frozen video, or otherwise disconnect from a Duel in progress, you will receive a Game Loss.
- Please be mindful of background noise around your Remote Duel setup, so you and your opponent can hear each other clearly.
All Duelists who wish to register for Public Events during the Remote Duel YCS weekend will do so via the Tournament Organizer of the specific Remote Duel server where they want to play Public Events. Q: How many Rounds will the Genesys Remote Duel YCS have?
A: The number of rounds in the tournament will be decided based on the modifier stipulated in section I. Number of Rounds – Tier 3 and Tier 4 Events found in the KDE-US Tournament Policy:

Q: How many Duelists will advance to Day 2?
A: The number of Duelist that return for Day 2 will be based on actual registered Duelists plus all VIPS. (late entries will not be considered)
If there are 32 or fewer Duelists registered for the YCS, then the Top 8 Duelists will advance to Day 2.
If there are 33 – 64 Duelists registered for the YCS, then the Top 16 Duelists or Duelists with a minimum of 15 points, whichever is larger, will advance to Day 2.
If there are 65 – 128 Duelists registered for the YCS, then the Top 32 Duelists or Duelists with a minimum of 15 points, whichever is larger, will advance to Day 2.
If there are 129 – 256 Duelists registered for the YCS, then the Top 64 Duelists OR Duelists with a minimum of 15 points, whichever number is larger, will advance to Day 2.
If there are 257 – 512 Duelists registered for the YCS, then the Top 128 Duelists OR Duelists with a minimum of 18 Points, whichever number is larger, will advance to Day 2.
If there are 513 – 1024 Duelists registered for the YCS, then the Top 128 Duelists OR Duelists with a minimum of 18 Points, whichever number is larger, will advance to Day 2.
If there are 1025 – 2048 Duelists registered for the YCS, then the Top 256 Duelists OR Duelists with a minimum of 21 Points, whichever number is larger, will advance to Day 2.
If there are 2049 or more Duelists registered for the YCS, then the Top 256 Duelists OR Duelists with a minimum of 21 Points, whichever number is larger, will advance to Day 2.
Q: What happens if I qualify for Day 2 of both Main Events at the Remote Duel YCS?
A: If a Duelist qualifies for Day 2 of both events (Advanced and Genesys), they must choose which Day 2 they wish to compete in once the official standings for the Advanced Main Event are posted at the end of Saturday, September 19.
Prizing, invites, and any other awards will be awarded based on the standings that are confirmed as final.
Q: How many Duelists will advance to the Top Cut?
A: The tournament will cut to Top 8 after all rounds of Swiss are completed and prizes will be awarded down to 32nd place based on the standings of active Duelists.

Q: What will I need to participate in the Genesys Remote Duel YCS tournament?
A: You should have a Genesys tournament-legal Deck as described under “What is the format for the Genesys Remote Duel YCS?,” along with any tournament supplies you will need, such as paper and pen to track Life Points, dice or counters if you are using cards which require them, extra sleeves to replace any that become damaged, and so forth. If you have a CARD GAME ID number, it should be linked to your KONAMI ID and displayed in the NEURON app on your smart device. For those joining our events for the first time, obtaining a CARD GAME ID is as easy as downloading the NEURON app. Once downloaded follow the steps below:
- On the bottom menu screen, select Data.
- Once there, a new CARD GAME ID number will be generated at the top of the screen.
This CARD GAME ID will be used when registering for any Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG Sanctioned events which includes our Tier 1 Local Events, Tier 2 Regional Qualifiers, Dragon Duels and OTS Championships, Tier 3 YCS, Latin America National and WCQ events, and even Tier 4 World Championship.
Once you have a CARD GAME ID, we strongly encourage you to create a KONAMI ID and link the two accounts.
A KONAMI ID can be used across various online services provided by the KONAMI Group. Registration is free of charge and can be completed through the “New Registration” option on the My KONAMI website (https://my.konami.net) or directly through the NEURON app.
The most common uses of a KONAMI ID for Duelists include Yu-Gi-Oh! MASTER DUEL, Yu-Gi-Oh! DUEL LINKS, and Yu-Gi-Oh! NEURON. Linking your CARD GAME ID to a KONAMI ID helps ensure that your account information is properly associated with your Organized Play participation and allows you to access additional KONAMI services using a single account.

Q: I don’t have a Remote Duel Setup. Is there anything I can do to participate?
A: Some Official Tournament Stores (OTS) can offer Remote Duel Stations to allow Remote Duelists to participate in Remote Duel tournaments. These same Remote Duel Stations can be used to participate in the Genesys Remote Duel YCS. Keep in mind that quantities are limited so please make sure to reach out to your OTS to check as soon as possible.
Q: During my Match, how many cameras can I use to stream?
A: During a match, a maximum of 1 camera can be active per Duelist.
Q: How do I find my table during the Genesys Remote Duel YCS?
A: Each Round, pairings will be posted in a channel named #Genesys-ycs-main-event-pairings in the Remote Duel YCS Discord server. The pairings will be posted as a series of images. The images are the pairings for the Round, sorted by Duelists’ Last Name. Find your name on the Pairings channel to see the table you are assigned for the Round.
Alternatively, the same channel will also have a QR code posted to the Online Pairings website. For this website, you will enter your CARD GAME ID and the Online Pairings website will tell you what Table you are assigned for the Round. If you are not sure what your CARD GAME ID is, you can find it next to your name on the images of the pairings list and then use it for future Rounds.
Regardless of whether you find your assigned table through the pairings images or the Online Pairings website, once you have found your assigned table for the Round, you will be able to find it in the list of voice channels. For example, if you are assigned table 20, you would find the voice channel table 20 and join that for your match.
Q: How do I report my match result during the Genesys Remote Duel YCS?
A: Once you have completed your match, you can report your result in the #Genesys-YCS-Round-results text channel in the Remote Duel YCS Discord server.

*** The YCS Prize Card Pack will be awarded based on standings announced at the end of Day 1.
The Ultra Rare Top 16 YCS Prize Card Pack and the Super Rare Top 32 YCS Prize Card Pack will be awarded after Final Swiss Standings are determined, prior to the Top 8 cut. Duelists must still be enrolled in the tournament at the end of the Final Round of Swiss and ranked in the Top 16 or Top 32 respectively to receive these Prize Card Packs.
