Steven De Lara and Barrett Keys both made it to the Finals this weekend after masterfully using their Nekroz Decks in the Swiss Rounds and then skillfully drafting Battle Pack 3: Monster League. They Dueled against each other during Round 2 of the tournament, and their Match ended in a draw. Now, both of these Californian Duelists will be Dueling once again, and this time, there must be a clear victor. One of these two Duelists is about to become the champion of YCS Tacoma. Local Seattle Duelist Amanuel Yihdego is Dueling in his first YCS this weekend! He finished the Swiss Rounds using a Nekroz Deck with an 8-1-1 record and just won his Top 32 Match. Omar Daoudi from Lakewood, California is in a similar situation. He finished the Swiss Rounds with an 8-2 record and just won a Top 32 Feature Match using his Nekroz Deck to defeat Qliphorts. But now, Yihdego and Daoudi are both entering new territory. They must cast aside their Nekroz Decks and use the Decks they constructed during the Battle Pack 3: Monster League draft. There will be no Ritual Monsters used in this Match – it’s time to Duel!
Local Seattle VIP Duelist Yueqi Zhu finished the Swiss Rounds with a 9-1 record this weekend, earning a first place finish at the end of Swiss. His opponent, Zhe Sun from Missouri, finished off with a 7-2-1 record, just making it into the Top 32 with a thirty-second place finish at the end of the Swiss Rounds. Now, they’re Dueling against one another in a Nekroz mirror-Match that will eliminate one of these 2 Duelists from the tournament once and for all. It’s time to Duel!

13-year-old Ankit Sujith is Dueling against 8-year-old Toby Schmauder in the final round of today’s Dragon Duel tournament. Don’t let their young ages fool you – both of these Duelists are experienced players. 8-year-old Toby Schmauder has been Dueling since he was 6 years old, and Ankit Sujith has been Dueling since he was Toby’s age. Although both of these local Duelists will make it to the Top 4, only the first place Duelist will earn the right to Duel in tomorrow’s Dragon Duel Championship. It’s time to Duel!
