Fusion Enforcers is here! Before you start attaching who-knows-what to Aleister the Invoker or unleashing the Frigtfur Kraken, there’s one notable card name-non change to report.
Raging Tempest hits shelves everywhere today! You can find a list of every card in the set on the official card database!
Speaking of the card database, eagle-eyed viewers might note that the name of a card has been officially changed. The Trap Card Null and Void has been changed to Muko. Mechanically, this means that it is no longer a “Void” card and it cannot be added to your hand with cards like Void Vanishment. It also updates the official name of the card to match the name used by Ishizu when she used the card against Kaiba in their Battle City Quarterfinal Duel.
Invasion: Vengeance is finally here! Today is the official release date of the newest booster, so these cards are now tournament legal. We all hope you have a Toadally Awesome dueling weekend! And speaking of, a few cards have had their names updated in the Card Database.
Frog the Jam is now Slime Toad (not a “Frog” monster)
Kinetic Soldier is now Cipher Soldier (is a “Cipher” monster)
Red-Eyes B. Chick is now Black Dragon’s Chick (not a “Red-Eyes” monster)
These three cards will be available with their new names in OTS Tournament Pack 3.
In addition, 2 more cards will get name updates when Destiny Soldiers launches on November 18th.
Marie the Fallen One will become Darklord Marie (is a “Darklord” monster)
Nurse Reficule the Fallen One will become Darklord Nurse Reficule (is a “Darklord” monster)
You’ll get to learn more about the new Darklords in Destiny Soldiers next week, so make sure to come back then!
The official launch of Invasion: Vengeance is still a week away, but you can get a head start on adding the newest cards to your Decks and collections this weekend at an OTS near you. To find a Sneak Peek in the United States or Canada, head on over to the locator! If you live in Latin America, check with the OTS nearest you to see if and/or when they’re holding the Invasion: Vengeance Sneak Peek.
Structure Deck: Yugi Muto and Structure Deck: Seto Kaiba are finally here! You can pick them up today, and they’re tournament legal today as well. These cards are bound to pop up this weekend if you’re playing in tournaments, so make sure to read up on them, assuming of course you aren’t already playing them!
