Cybernetic Horizon: Shift Gears

If you’ve been following the competitive Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME scene, you’ve probably noticed the prevalence of Sky Striker cards in the most popular Decks. Sky Strikers are able to dominate tournaments because of the variety of monsters and effects they’re able to utilize. The Sky Striker theme has Spell Cards that can destroy monsters, Special Summon monsters, destroy Spell and Trap Cards, draw cards, and more. It also has monsters that can retrieve those Sky Striker Spell Cards and dominate the field if there are Spell Cards in the Graveyard. Cybernetic Horizon will introduce a new Sky Striker Link Monster to the Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME, adding a powerful new tool to the Sky Striker arsenal and making the Sky Striker theme more formidable than ever before!

Cybernetic Horizon: Stick the Landing

Drawing cards is awesome. If you have more cards you can put together more combos, make bigger plays, and have a better chance at answering your opponent’s moves.

Some of the best strategies dominated in their time because they had effects that gathered more cards, either by searching them from the Deck or drawing them off the top.  Those kinds of effects are usually pretty rare, so when a draw card works in lots of different strategies it’s worth thinking about.  Pot of Greed was so powerful it was Forbidden, and Pot of Desires is so good that it’s become an equalizer for Decks that can afford to banish for it.  You can look at certain eras of competition and see which decks had a leg up, solely because they could run Desires.

The card we’re talking about today works in much the same way, bringing more draw power to a ton of different strategies.  Check out the all-new Pinpoint Landing.

Relentless Revenge: Strike Gold

The Seal of Orichalcos was, for a long time, one of the most requested cards from the Yu-Gi-Oh! animated series to be made into an actual card for the TRADING CARD GAME.  Given the card’s ridiculous power level and importance in the plot of the Waking the Dragon’s story arc, the demand for this card was the highest until it was finally released.  But the Seal wasn’t the only powerful Field Spell in the animated series: in the very next story arc, we saw another Field Spell that caused all sorts of problems for Yugi Moto.  Presenting one of the most powerful Field Spells from the animated series: Golden Castle of Stromberg!
