Ancient Millennium: Vellian Crowler’s Ancient Gears

Legendary Duelists: Ancient Millennium powers up strategies from the original Yu-Gi-Oh! series and Yu-Gi-Oh! GX!  Among those are Dr. Vellian Crowler’s Ancient Gear Deck, which revolve around his ace monster Ancient Gear Golem which has 3000 ATK, the ability to do piercing battle damage and prevents your opponent from activating Spells and traps when it attacks!  The cards we’re looking at here will give you more chances to Summon the powerful Ancient Gear Golem – or some form of it anyway.  Read more…

Extreme Force: Reflect, Refract, Disperse

Spirit Warriors gave us a bunch of new strategies, one of them were the Weather Painters; a group of monsters centered around the colors of the rainbow.  In Extreme Force, we get another group of rainbow themed monsters, but while the Weather Painters are more focused around controlling the field and negating effects, these guys pack more of a punch.  Here come the Mekk-Knights!

Extreme Force: Don’t Bug Out

The “C” line of Insects are monsters that pop out of nowhere whenever monsters are being Summoned to the field.  The “C” monsters have been mainstays of competitive play for years: Maxx “C” has been a part of tournament-winning Decks for years and is currently on the Limited List.  Flying “C” flies into Duelists’ Side Decks whenever an Xyz Summon-heavy strategy becomes popular, and Retaliating “C” became the pick of choice when Spell-based Special Summoning (like Ritual Summoning a Nekroz monster) was all over the place.  No matter when type of monster lineup your opponent has, there’s an Insect that can stop it.  Now, in Extreme Force, a new kind of Insect will infest the field: introducing Contact “C”!
