Circuit Break: Next in Line

Way back in 2006, Cyberdark Impact made zones matter. For the first time, it was important to choose your zones carefully, lest you end up on the receiving end of Blasting Fuse. With the introduction of Link Monsters and the newest rules regarding the Extra Monster Zones, zone-specific cards have never been so viable! Circuit Break: A Borrel of Fun

The mighty Borreload Dragon is one of the hottest new cards in Circuit Break. It’s got three huge effects, four Link Arrows, 3000 ATK, and it fits into all sorts of different Decks: Pendulum Magicians, True Dracos, ABC-Dragon Buster, World Chalice, Zombie Lightsworn, and the newly powered-up SPYRAL strategy all love it, and those are just the beginning.

Circuit Break: The War Continues…

The Vendread cards first released in Code of the Duelist gave rise to a brand-new theme of Ritual Monsters unlike any other! Code of the Duelist introduced the first Vendread Ritual Monster – Revendread Slayer – which feeds off of the effects of the monsters Tributed to Ritual Summon it. Now there’s a whole new slew of Vendread cards about to be released in Circuit Break!

The Vendread cards in Code of the Duelist were powerful, but there wasn’t enough of them to build a complete Vendread Deck. Revendread Origin from Code of the Duelist is the Ritual Spell Card at the core of the Vendread strategy, while supporting cards like Vendread Reorigin, Vendread Houndhorde, and Vendread Revenants in Code of the Duelist made it easier to Summon the Revendread Slayer ace monster. Circuit Break introduces a new Vendread Spell, Trap, Effect Monster, and Ritual Monster to the Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME, making Vendreads more powerful than ever before!

Circuit Break: The Third Rival

Circuit Break has a bunch of Link Monsters that are going to become new standards, and Akashic Magician is one of them.  You can run it in Pendulum Magicians, ABC-Dragon Buster, Trickstars, True Dracos, and even Burning Abyss and Vendreads, because its Link Materials are so easy: you just need any two monsters with the same Type, except Tokens.

Once you Summon it, Akashic Magician has the ever-useful single downward Link Arrow, as well as an upward Link Arrow pointing to your opponent’s Monster Zone.  Normally that wouldn’t be helpful, but Akashic Magician actually Links to your opponent’s monsters to power its effects – abilities that we haven’t really seen before, especially on a Link Monster.
