Dragonecro Nethersoul Dragon may not destroy the monsters it battles, but it can do one better – it can steal their souls and create a Dark Soul Token that mimics their ATK and Levels! In addition, any monster it battles that has an original Level becomes a shell of its former self. Its Attack Points are reduced to 0, rendering it harmless. One by one, Dragonecro Nethersoul Dragon lets you assemble an army of Dark Soul Tokens that can wipe out your opponent with the strength of his or her own monsters.

Dragonecro Nethersoul Dragon can be Fusion Summoned by combining any 2 Zombie-Type monsters, and wields an impressive 3000 ATK. While you could Summon it the traditional way by combining 2 Zombies with Polymerization, it’s even easier to Summon with Dragon’s Mirror. Dragon’s Mirror lets you banish Fusion Material Monsters from your field or Graveyard to Special Summon a Dragon-Type Fusion Monster. Since Dragonecro Nethersoul Dragon is a Dragon-Type Fusion Monster, you can simply banish any 2 Zombies from your field or Graveyard to Special Summon Dragonecro Nethersoul Dragon with Dragon’s Mirror.

Once Summoned, Dragonecro Nethersoul Dragon is the ultimate weapon against any non-Xyz Monster. As long as the monster it battles has a Level, Dragonecro Nethersoul Dragon will reduce that monster’s ATK to 0 and Special Summon a Token that imitates its stolen Attack Points. A Dark Soul Token that Dragonecro Nethersoul Dragon Special Summons can attack immediately after it’s Special Summoned, so even when Dragonecro Nethersoul Dragon can’t finish off an opponent’s monster, the Dark Soul Token mustered by that monster’s essence can usually finish it off after its Attack Points are reduced to 0.

Note that Dragonecro Nethersoul Dragon can only reduce the ATK of monsters with original Levels, and can only Special Summon a Dark Soul Token after battling a monster with an original Level. When Dragonecro Nethersoul Dragon battles an Xyz Monster that has a Rank instead of a Level, its effect won’t kick in.

Dragonecro Nethersoul Dragon is a powerful monster for any Zombie Deck to Summon with Dragon’s Mirror, but crafty Duelists may also use Dragonecro Nethersoul Dragon as a weapon against Zombie Duelists. By using the Super Polymerization Spell Card, you can discard a card to fuse together monsters on either side of the field. If your opponent has 2 Zombie-Type monsters on the field, you can fuse both of his or her Zombies together to Summon a Dragonecro Nethersoul Dragon of your own! Other Duelists may use Zombie World or DNA Surgery to transform all monsters into Zombie-Type Monsters before using Super Polymerization to fuse an opponent’s monsters together and Summon Dragonecro Nethersoul Dragon.
