New Cogs in the Machine!
The gears are in motion for this Friday’s launch of the Geargia Rampage Structure Deck! Geargia Rampage features four brand new Geargia monsters that will breathe new life into Geargia Decks: Geargiauger, Geargiattacker, Geargiano Mk-III, and Geargiagear Gigant XG!
Geargia Decks have always been known for their ability to search out key components of the Deck and function like a well-oiled machine thanks to Geargiarmor. Now, Geargiauger further improves the Deck’s consistency!
Geargiauger is a Level 4 monster that lets you add another Level 4 EARTH Machine-Type monster from your Deck to your hand when it’s Normal Summoned. You can’t attack or Special Summon non-Machines after you use Geargiauger’s effect, but that’s a small price to pay to be able to add Geargiarsenal, Geargiarmor, Yellow Gadget, Red Gadget, Green Gadget, or a number of other monsters from your Deck to your hand. You can even grab Geargiaccelerator with Geargiauger’s effect, and Special Summon Geargiaccelerator to quickly Xyz Summon Gear Gigant X.
Geargiattacker is an offense-oriented take on Geargiarmor that will make your opponent really think about what your Set monsters might be.
Geargiattacker is a Level 4 EARTH Machine-Type monster, which means that you can add it to your hand with the effect of Geargiauger. When it’s flipped face-up, Geargiattacker attacks your opponent’s back row by destroying a Spell or Trap Card on the field for each other Geargia monster you control. Once per turn, you can flip Geargiattacker face-down to reuse its effect later, much like Geargiarmor. Geargiattacker also boasts an impressive 1900 ATK, which means it’s a solid monster to use when attacking your opponent’s field, but has low DEF, forcing your opponent to guess whether they should attack an unknown face-down monster.
The latest Structure Deck also includes the newest model of Geargiano: Geargiano Mk-III!
Geargiano Mk-III is a Level 3 monster that lets you Special Summon a Geargia monster (other than Geargiano Mk-III) from your hand or Graveyard when it’s Special Summoned. Geargiano Mk-III makes it easy to swarm the field with Geargia monsters.
Summon Geargiano Mk-II and activate its effect to Special Summon Geargiano Mk-III from your hand or Graveyard. Then, use Geargiano Mk-III’s effect to Special Summon Geargiano or Geargiano Mk-II from your hand or Graveyard. That’ll leave you with 3 Level 3 Geargia monsters on the field. You’ll be all ready to perform an Xyz Summon!
You can’t Special Summon monsters other than Geargia monsters during the turn you activate Geargiano Mk-III’s effect, but thanks to the brand new Geargiagear Gigant XG, you won’t have to!
Geargiagear Gigant XG is a Rank 3 monster with 2500 ATK. It can be Summoned by combining any 3 Level 3 monsters.
During either player’s Battle Step, while there’s an attack involving one of your Machine-Type monsters, you can detach an Xyz Material from Geargiagear Gigant XG to negate the effects of all face-up cards your opponent controls, and prevent your opponent from activating cards or effects. Geargiagear Gigant XG’s effect lasts until the end of the Damage Step.
As an added bonus, when your face-up Geargiagear Gigant XG leaves the field, you can add a Geargia card from your Graveyard to your hand. Note that Geargiagear Gigant XG’s effect isn’t limited to adding Geargia monsters to your hand, so it can even be used to grab the Limited Geargiagear Trap Card.
Every card named in this article is included in the Geargia Rampage Structure Deck, so it’s about to become easier than ever to build a Geargia Deck. You’ll be able to use your own updated Geargia Deck when Geargia Rampage is released this Friday!
