All of the currently popular Decks – including Shaddoll Decks, Tellarknight Decks, and Burning Abyss Decks – focus on Special Summoning their most powerful Fusion, Synchro, and Xyz Monsters. Now, there’s a Level 4 Effect Monster that can take down just about every Deck’s biggest boss monsters. The New Challengers introduces Night Dragolich to the Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME!

Night Dragolich is a Level 4 monster with a Continuous Effect that switches all monsters (except for Wyrm-Type monsters) that were Special Summoned from the Main Deck or the Extra Deck into Defense Position. Plus, all of those monsters lose a number of Defense Points equal to their original Defense Points. Absent a boost in Defense Points, that means they’ll drop down to 0 DEF.

In addition to being rendered harmless as a result of being switched into Defense Position, the monsters affected by Night Dragolich’s effect also become extremely vulnerable. With their Defense Points reduced to 0, Night Dragolich’s 1700 ATK are more than enough to wipe them out one by one. Even 1 ATK would be enough to do it.

Night Dragolich’s Continuous Effect immobilizes a wide array of monsters, afflicting every monster Special Summoned from the Main Deck or Extra Deck. Popular monsters that are commonly Special Summoned from the Main Deck and that will be subdued by Night Dragolich’s effect include any Artifact monster Special Summoned from the Deck by Artifact Sanctum and any Burning Abyss monster Special Summoned by the effect of Graff, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss.

But Night Dragolich’s power to subdue monsters Summoned from the Extra Deck is what really makes it shine. Night Dragolich will weaken all of the most popular monsters Special Summoned from the Extra Deck, including El Shaddoll Winda; El Shaddoll Construct; Dante, Traveler of the Burning Abyss; Goyo Guardian; Downerd Magician; Stardust Dragon; and just about any other Extra Deck monster that you can think of! It can even take down Shooting Quasar Dragon – a monster that’s generally tough to defeat because of its high stats and its ability to negate the activation of cards and effects. It’s also important to note that it’ll also work on Pendulum Monsters that were Pendulum Summoned from the Extra Deck.

Since Night Dragolich’s effect doesn’t affect Wyrm-Type monsters, it’s especially powerful in Yang Zing Decks packed with Wyrm-Type monsters. Its effect won’t backfire when used in those Decks.

But Night Dragolich won’t only be used in Yang Zing Decks. Night Dragolich is an incredible card in all sorts of Decks. Any Duelist – no matter which type of Deck he or she is using – can use Night Dragolich to weaken and destroy an opponent’s most powerful monsters.
