Dimension of Chaos: Majespecter Mania!

October 20th, 2015

There’s an adorable new set of Pendulum Monsters, all of which can’t be targeted or destroyed by an opponent’s card effect! Dimension of Chaos introduces the Majespecters to the Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME!

The Basics

Majespecters are all WIND-Attribute Spellcasters that are immune to targeting and destruction effects. That means opponents will have a tough time getting rid of your Majespecters. And if your opponent does manage to destroy them, whether in battle or by other means, since the Majespecters are all Pendulum Monsters, they won’t usually stay gone for long. If they would be sent from the field to the Graveyard, they’re returned to the Extra Deck face-up instead, and can then be Pendulum Summoned back to the field! Furthermore, each Majespecter monster has a Pendulum Scale of 2 or 5, enabling you to easily Pendulum Summon your Level 3 and Level 4 Majespecters back to the field at will.

Adding to their power, each of the Level 4 or lower Majespecters has an effect that activates whenever it’s Normal Summoned or Special Summoned. These effects will make your opponent think twice about destroying your Majespecters and sending them back to the Extra Deck. If your opponent sends your Majespecter back to the Extra Deck, enabling you to Pendulum Summon it back to the field, you’ll be able to repeatedly take advantage of its effect that activates when it’s Summoned.

But even if your opponent refrains from attacking your Majespecters, you’ll be able to find your own ways to send them back to the Extra Deck. The Majespecter arsenal includes a variety of powerful Spell and Trap Cards that can be activated by Tributing one of your Majespecters.

The Raccoon, The Crow, and The Fox

There are three Level 4 or lower Majespecter monsters that are crucial to the Deck’s strategy: Majespecter Raccoon – Bunbuku, Majespecter Crow – Yata, and Majespecter Fox – Kyubi.

Each one of these monsters searches your Deck for a different card to add to your hand when it’s Summoned, and none of them can be targeted or destroyed by an opponent’s card effects.

Majespecter Raccoon – Bunbuku

Majespecter Raccoon – Bunbuku is a Level 3 monster with a Pendulum Scale of 5. When it’s Normal or Special Summoned, you can add any Majespecter monster from your Deck to your hand. Use Bunbuku to search for other Majespecters to add to your hand, and to make sure your Deck’s strategy comes to fruition.

Majespecter Crow – Yata

Majespecter Crow – Yata is a Level 4 monster with a Pendulum Scale of 5. When it’s Normal Summoned or Special Summoned, Yata lets you add any Majespecter Spell Card from your Deck to your hand. You can use Yata’s effect to add Majespecter Storm or Majespecter Cyclone to your hand.

Majespecter Fox – Kyubi

Majespecter Fox – Kyubi is a Level 4 monster with a Pendulum Scale of 2. When it’s Normal or Special Summoned, Kyubi lets you add any Majespecter Trap Card from your Deck to your hand. You can use Kyubi’s effect to add Majespecter Tornado or Majespecter Tempest from your Deck to your hand.

Majespecter Tornado
is a Normal Trap Card that lets you Tribute a WIND Spellcaster-Type monster to banish an opponent’s monster. Majespecter Tempest is a Counter Trap Card that lets you Tribute a WIND Spellcaster-Type monster when a monster would be Special Summoned or a monster effect is activated, in order to negate the Summon or activation, and then destroy the card whose Summon or activation was negated.

The Majespecter armory is equipped to handle just about anything. Tomorrow we’ll be taking a look at some of the other cards you can add to your Majespecter Deck when Dimension of Chaos is released on November 6th!
