Shining Victories is nearly here, and that can only mean one thing: the return of the invincible Blue-Eyes White Dragon! Blue-Eyes White Dragon has been a fan-favorite since the dawn of Dueling, and Shining Victories is packed with new cards that let Blue-Eyes Decks take flight and soar to new heights!

Have you ever sat down and thought to yourself that it’s an injustice that there’s never been a Blue-Eyes Twin Dragon? Good news: there is now! Blue-Eyes Twin Burst Dragon is the long-awaited Fusion of exactly two Blue-Eyes White Dragons. Blue-Eyes Twin Burst Dragon has 3000 ATK, 2500 DEF, and 2 heads.

First, Blue-Eyes Twin Burst Dragon can’t be destroyed by battle. Second, it can make two attacks on monsters during each Battle Phase. Third, it banishes from the Duel any monster that it attacks, but is unable to destroy in battle. These three effects guarantee that the Blue-Eyes Twin Burst Dragon has no equal. No monster can best it in battle.

Although Blue-Eyes Twin Burst Dragon can be Fusion Summoned through traditional methods, like by using Polymerization or Dragon’s Mirror to fuse two Blue-Eyes White Dragons together, it also has an effect that lets you Summon it without the assistance of a Fusion Spell Card. While you have two Blue-Eyes White Dragons on the field, you can send them both to the Graveyard to Special Summon Blue-Eyes Twin Burst Dragon from your Extra Deck.

This additional Summoning trick can come in handy if your opponent controls a monster that your standard Blue-Eyes White Dragon can’t get through on its own.

Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon is a Level 9 Synchro Monster with 2500 ATK and 3000 DEF. You can Summon it by combining 1 Tuner with 1 or more non-Tuner “Blue-Eyes” monsters. You can Summon it most easily by combining Blue-Eyes White Dragon with a Level 1 Tuner. There are 5 new Level 1 Tuners in Shining Victories that you can use to Synchro Summon Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon, making it easy to Synchro Summon. We’ll talk about some of those Tuners on the Strategy Site later this week.

Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon has a bunch of awesome effects. First, it prevents players from Special Summoning more than 1 monster to the field at a time. That means it shuts down big Pendulum Summons, effects like Rescue Rabbit and Rescue Hamster, and prevents massive plays from Soul Charge. Second, once during every turn it can negate the activation of an effect that activates in the Graveyard, including the effects of the omnipresent Burning Abyss and Phantom Knight cards. Third, you can Tribute your Synchro Summoned Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon during either player’s turn to Special Summon a LIGHT Dragon-Type Synchro Monster from your Extra Deck in Defense Position, and destroy that monster during the End Phase.

Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon’s effect can be used to Special Summon powerful Synchro Monsters like Azure-Eyes Silver Dragon and Stardust Spark Dragon. In addition, you can use the effects of Azure-Eyes Silver Dragon and Stardust Spark Dragon to have them protect themselves from the lingering destructive effect of your Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon.
