Pendulum Domination brings a D/D/D to a whole new level, so it’s a great pickup for anyone who either wants to play D/D or is looking to step up their game. While Pendulum Domination includes the vast majority of what you’ll need to become a master D/D/Duelist, you can always add more cards to it to kick it up a notch. Building your Deck is a big part of what will help you succeed in your Duels, so why not take advantage of more powerful cards?

D/D Swirl Slime and D/D Necro Slime are probably two of the most important cards you can include alongside Pendulum Domination to really get an edge. D/D Swirl Slime can act as a Fusion Spell as well as a Fusion Material, helping you set up huge plays quickly while throwing down large D/D Fusions into play. It also has a second effect that lets you banish it from the Graveyard to Special Summon a D/D from your hand, and getting as many Monsters onto the field as quickly as possible is definitely something that D/D/D wants to do. D/D Necro Slime is also a way to Fusion Summon your huge “D/D/D” Monsters, just by banishing it from the Graveyard. When combined with D/D Lamia or D/D Swirl Slime, you have an easy way to get it down to the Graveyard to quickly get its effect off. Both D/D Swirl Slime and D/D Necro Slime are available from Dimension of Chaos as well as the 2016 Mega-Tins Mega Pack.

In addition to the slimes, D/D/D Flame King Genghis and D/D/D Gust King Alexander are both also very important. The big reason why Pendulum Domination is a game changer for D/D is because of D/D Lamia, and these two Extra Deck monsters are some of the strongest ways plays you can make with her. Once each turn when a “D/D” monster is Special Summoned, either D/D/D Flame King Genghis or D/D/D Gust King Alexander will trigger to Special Summon a D/D from your Graveyard! That’ll give you a lot of monsters very quickly, opening you up to super strong turns. D/D/D Flame King Genghis and D/D/D Gust King Alexander are from the 2016 Mega-Tins, with Genghis in Yugi’s Tin and Alexander in Kaiba’s.

While not the most important, D/D Savant Thomas is a very powerful D/D option that isn’t included in Pendulum Domination. Luckily, it is just a Rare from a few months ago in The Dark Illusion so it’s not too hard to get! D/D Savant Thomas is Level 8, so it’s integral to a lot of your best Xyz Summons. Rank 8s like D/D/D Duo-Dawn King Kali Yuga and Number 38: Hope Harbinger Dragon Titanic Galaxy are some of the most powerful Xyz Monsters right now, so if you can manage to get your hands on either one, then you definitely want D/D Savant Thomas in your Deck.

Speaking of the Extra Deck, D/D Lamia being a Tuner means that if you can include Synchro Monsters, then you should. Formula Synchron and T.G. Hyper Librarian are both very powerful when used alongside one another, and help you set up even more Synchro Summons while drawing through your Deck. Level 8 Synchros like Crystal Wing Synchro Dragon and PSY-Framelord Omega are both very valuable to have as well because they can make your fields much more impressive and very hard to deal with. Even the longtime favorite Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier is just as good in D/D/D.
