Cybernetic Horizon: Ritualistic

July 24th, 2018

Cybernetic Horizon features a twist on a classic Ritual Monster theme with the release of Demise, Supreme King of Armageddon and Ruin, Supreme Queen of Oblivion.  These monsters are alternate versions of Demise, King of Armageddon and Ruin, Queen of Oblivion who have been a part of the TCG for over 10 years.  This type of Ritual Monster is traditionally difficult to Summon because you need to find the Ritual Monster, the matching Ritual Spell Card, and the Tributes for the Ritual Summon.  That might have been difficult in the past, but the Impcantation monsters make your Ritual Summons super easy!

At the moment, there are only two Impcantation monsters: Impcantation Candoll and Impcantation Talismandra, but with just these two monsters, you can easily assemble the missing pieces of a Ritual Summon.  If you have Impcantation Candoll and a Ritual Spell in your hand, you can Special Summon Candoll from your hand and another Impcantation from your Deck that isn’t Candoll.  If Candoll is Special Summoned from the Deck, you can add a Ritual Spell from your Deck to your hand.  Impcantation Talismandra does the same thing except for Ritual Monsters.

The Impcantations have 0 ATK and DEF, but the effects more than make up for it.  If you have Demise, Supreme King of Armageddon and Impcantation Talismandra in your hand, you can Special Summon Talismandra from your hand and Candoll from the Deck, then use Candoll’s effect to add the Ritual Spell Card Cycle of the World from your Deck to your hand, giving you a total of 10 Levels on the field (Candoll is Level 4, Talismandra is Level 6) which perfectly lines up with Demise, Supreme King of Armageddon’s Level of 10!  Keep in mind: you only needed the Ritual Monster and the matching Impcantation monster to perform this sequence, and you’ll end up with a powerful Ritual Monster on the field along with a Ritual Spell Card of your choice in the Graveyard.

The Impcantations work really well with the Ritual Monsters and Spells from Cybernetic Horizon, but they work with any Ritual Monsters and Spells.  You can dust off your Nekroz Deck and update it to include the Impcantations to give the strategy the search power that Shurit, Strategist of the Nekroz left behind.  Or, if you’re a fan of Cyber Angels, the Impcantations give you the power to add any of the Cyber Angel Ritual Monsters and have 10 Levels worth of Tribute ready to go, giving you access to pretty much any monster you want!

You can find the Impcantations in Cybernetic Horizon at your Official Tournament Store on July 26th and everywhere else on July 27th!
