Welcome to the final preview article for Speed Duel: Arena of Lost Souls! To close out this preview series, we will be revealing a brand-new Skill for Ishizu.

At the start of the Duel, place this card in your Field Zone and Flip it over.

 This card is always treated as “Necrovalley”. All “Gravekeeper’s” monsters on the field gain 200 ATK/DEF.

While Gravekeeper’s have powerful effects, they rely heavily on Necrovalley being in play to use them. Tomb of the Pharaoh not only fills this requirement for all of your Gravekeeper’s, but it doesn’t require to lose a card out of your hand to use it!

Suddenly cards like Hidden Temples of Necrovalley become much stronger, easily allowing you to lock your opponent out of Special Summoning. One of the downsides to using Tomb of the Pharaoh is that it’ll likely be the only copy of Necrovalley you’ll have access to, so you’ll be more vulnerable to your opponent destroying the Field Spell. However, you can always have a backup plan…

Gravekeeper’s Ambusher is a perfect way to make sure you won’t get caught without Necrovalley. If your opponent destroys your Field Spell, you can Summon Ambusher and add it back to your hand so you can play it again! With the boost from Tomb of the Pharaoh, Ambusher has a solid 1900 ATK which will put a lot of pressure on your opponent to deal with it.

Because Gravekeeper’s tend to be a bit monster heavy, especially with the synergies of Gravekeeper’s Recruiter and Wonder Wand, you could consider Veil of Darkness as a way to make sure you get to your key Spells and Traps. Even if your hand gets too big and you’re forced to discard, you always have Rite of Spirit to make use of your fallen Gravekeeper’s.

High ATK monsters also pose a potential problem for Gravekeeper’s so options like Magicians Unite can give you ways to pump your Gravekeeper’s ATK high enough to deal with whatever your opponent may throw at you. You also have tools like Diffusion Wave-Motion to go alongside your Gravekeeper’s Oracle to clean up an opponent’s field right after you lower their monsters’ ATK!
