Cards with search effects similar to Reinforcement of the Army are a great option for any Deck that contains the right type of monsters.  If you’re a fan of Playmaker’s Code Talkers, Soulburner’s Salamangreats, or any Cyberse strategy, Cynet Mining is something you should definitely check out!

Cynet Mining is incredibly straightforward; discard a card to add any Level 4 or lower Cyberse monster from your Deck to your hand.  Besides the Salamangreats which are all Cyberse monsters, there are a lot of other good Cyberse monsters to add. When Flame Bufferlo leaves the field, you can discard another Cyberse monster and draw 2 cards.  With Cynet Mining, you can add Flame Bufferlo (which is a Cyberse monster itself) or add the monster you intend to discard with Flame Bufferlo’s effect.  With this play, you could take a Cyberse with a Graveyard effect like Dotscaper and get an immediate Special Summon out of it.  Or, you could add the newly-Limited Lady Debug which when Normal Summoned, lets you add a Level 3 or lower Cyberse monster from your Deck to your hand.  With one Cynet Mining, you can easily end up with a Lady Debug on the field and a Level 3 or lower Cyberse monster of your choice to your hand.  And that Lady Debug can be used for a Link Summon that requires a Cyberse like Salamangreat Balelynx.

Speaking of Salamangreat, we can’t talk about powerful Cyberse monsters without talking about Salamangreat Gazelle.  Cynet Mining lets you find the Salamangreat monster you need to start your combos or get back into the game if you’re behind.  Adding Salamangreat Gazelle can start your plays, and if you discard a Salamangreat for Cynet Mining, you can use the effect of Gazelle to Special Summon itself once it hits your hand. You can also add Salamangreat Spinny to your hand and discard it to boost a monster’s ATK by 500 just to put it in the Graveyard so you can Special Summon it.  Or you can add any of the other Level 4 or lower Salamangreat monsters to fit whatever situation you’re in.

Outside of the Salamangreat Deck, there are many Cyberse monsters worth having in your hand.  Sea Archiver can be Special Summoned from the hand or Graveyard of a monster is Normal or Special Summoned to a zone a Link Monster points to, so having this in your hand, or discarding it for Cynet Mining’s cost is great either way.  Or, you can add Formud Skipper to your hand to act as a Link Material with the same name, Type and Attribute as a Link Monster in your Extra Deck (which is also great for the Salamangreat strategy too).  Even Backup Secretary is a solid option if you just need another monster on the field.  There are a lot of options, and Cynet Mining is flexible enough to get you what you need when you need it.
