Dark Neostorm: Eternal Life
There’s a chilling new duo in Dark Neostorm! Ghost Sister & Spooky Dogwood is the latest monster with a Quick Effect that you can activate by discarding it from your hand during either player’s turn. Using the ability of Ghost Sister & Spooky Dogwood is one of the most effective ways to make sure you’ll make it to the next turn.
Ghost Sister & Spooky Dogwood is a Level 3 Zombie Tuner, which allows for some cool interactions and combos in Zombie Decks. But the effect of Ghost Sister & Spooky Dogwood is the reason that Duelists will be using it in competitive tournaments. During the turn that you discard Ghost Sister & Spooky Dogwood to activate its effect, each time your opponent Special Summons an Effect Monster during the Main Phase or Battle Phase, you gain Life Points equal that monster’s ATK.
In recent years, just about every Deck that aimed to wipe out an opponent in a single turn accomplished that goal with a flurry of Special Summoned Effect Monsters, culminating in a field of monsters whose total ATK are over 8000. Salamangreat Decks, Gouki Decks, Danger! Decks, Cyber Dragon Decks, Thunder Dragon Decks, and many more Decks have the potential to wipe out an opponent in a single turn by performing many Special Summons, including Link Summons.
The effect of Ghost Sister & Spooky Dogwood makes sure that you’re gaining Life Points as quickly as your opponent is adding Attack Points to the field. As a result, your opponent won’t be able to drop your Life Points down to 0 if you activate the effect of Ghost Sister & Spooky Dogwood early enough in his or her turn, unless your opponent can amass a large field without performing any Special Summons – a difficult feat, unless your opponent already has several monsters on the field before you discard Ghost Sister & Spooky Dogwood.
Even though Ghost Sister & Spooky Dogwood is the ultimate insurance against a quick one-turn loss, it does come with a drawback. If you discard Ghost Sister & Spooky Dogwood to activate its effect and don’t gain any Life Points with its effect, your Life Points are halved during the End Phase. As hefty as this drawback may sound, losing half of your Life Points in the End Phase still means that you’re making it to your next turn and will have the opportunity to retaliate against your opponent.
Ghost Sister & Spooky Dogwood is the perfect card for making sure you’ll get another turn. Dark Neostorm is available everywhere today!
