The Official KDE-US Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME Tournament Policy includes an update to Card/Hand/Deck Verification which has caused some confusion among Duelists. We’d like to provide guidance on the most commonly asked questions about this section, and the impact it has on the cards people play.
Heading to a tournament without understanding your cards is a bad idea, so you generally make an effort to learn what your cards do. That’s part of playing successfully.
As you all know, the current Forbidden & Limited List page states the next list will be no sooner than April 2. That means that’s the earliest that a new list will appear, but does not mean a list will necessarily appear on (or even around) that date.
Although we have some adjustments in mind, player response to the current list has been very good. Tournament attendance is way up and players are pretty happy.
Expect to see some small adjustments to the list later in April, rather than in early April.
P.S. For those wondering why Nekroz Cycle is not in Duel Power, it didn’t make it in for technical reasons, but a foil version will be included in Battles of Legend: Hero’s Revenge, coming out in July.
