World Superstars – Mecha Phantom Beasts Fly Again!

April 2nd, 2015

The Mecha Phantom Beasts are a deadly armada of sentient fighter planes and airships. For nearly two years Mecha Phantom Beast Dracossack has led their combat maneuvers – a brutal Rank 7 Xyz that unleashes Mecha Phantom Beast Tokens as reinforcements, and blasts your opponent’s cards out of the sky with its powerful destruction effect!

But World Superstars changes everything as a brand new boss monster joins the dogfight: Mecha Phantom Beast Jaculuslan is a massive Level 9 Synchro that flies intercepting patterns to protect your fleet; searches evasive and aggressive technologies for your flight plan; and buzzes your opponent’s hand. With three different abilities and 2700 ATK, Jaculuslan is just what the Mecha Phantom Beasts needed… Read more…

2014 Mega-Tin Rewind: Mecha Phantom Beast Dracossack

September 8th, 2014

We’ve come to the end of our 2014 Mega-Tin rewind, and we’re closing things out with the defining Xyz Monster from the latter half of 2013: Lord of the Tachyon Galaxy’s Mecha Phantom Beast Dracossack! Mecha Phantom Beast Aerosguin is a flying factory, designed to turn scrap Mecha Phantom Beasts into Mecha Phantom Beast Tokens. By banishing a Mecha Phantom Beast from your Graveyard, you’ll turn it into a Token – a very efficient method of recycling your run-down Machines! Of course, while you control a Token, Aerosguin and all of your other Mecha Phantom Beasts will be indestructible, and their Levels will increase as well. Aerosguin is great for when you really need a Token and a fast way to put one into play.

Lord of the Tachyon Galaxy released to great fanfare this past weekend! With new cards for a huge number of Decks, both past and present, there’s something for just about every Duelist out there, especially Duelists who want to crank out some of the biggest monsters in all of Dueling. With their Level-changing abilities, you can use Mecha Phantom Beasts to Summon Rank 9 and 10 monsters on a fairly regular basis, but sadly, those options are fairly limited. For now.

But it won’t remain that way for long, because the countdown to Number Hunters is on! If you haven’t heard of Number Hunters yet, be sure to read this page first, and then come on back. Every week from now until the release of Number Hunters, we’ll have a cool Deck idea to get you thinking about what you can do with some of the new cards that await you! Read more…

May 16th, 2013

With its ability to Summon 2 Mecha Phantom Beast Tokens and the ability to Tribute a token to materialise an actual monster in its place, Mecha Phantom Beast Hamstrat is an integral part of heaps of Mecha Phantom Beast combos. But even outside Mecha Phantom Beast Decks, there are plenty of ways to use Hamstrat, and one of the coolest is to gather the Tributes required to Summon Egyptian God Cards! Read more…
