Yu-Gi-Oh! Championship Series Atlanta was the last YCS of 2010 and many Duelists were trying to make the Top 32 with something new and innovative to give everybody something new to think about over the winter holidays. Also, Starstrike Blast made its competitive debut that and almost every Deck out there made use of new cards like Formula Synchron, Glow-Up Bulb and Shooting Star Dragon. Two of the more interesting Decks to make Top 8 at YCS Atlanta were Lightsworn and Volcanic Quickdraw. We haven’t really seen much of Lightsworn over the last 10 months, and after losing in the Semifinals of YCS San Jose, Volcanic Quickdraw had been off the map as well. It’s a quest for redemption for these two incredibly powerful Decks, head to head in tonight’s Monday Night Matchup!
Decks built around Yusei’s Quickdraw Synchron took fourth place at YCS San Jose, and second place at YCS Philadelphia. We already talked about the power boost they get from Formula Synchron, but that’s not all that’s in store for Quickdraw Duelists in Starstrike Blast! They also get an incredible new Spell Card: 1 that can only be compared to Duel-defining Spells like Charge of the Light Brigade. Behold the power of Tuning!
With a Top 16 finish at YCS Toronto and lots of help from Duelist Revolution, Quickdraw Dandywarrior Decks are back in action at the Championship level! There are lots of ways to build a Deck around Quickdraw Synchron: beyond the core of cards like Lonefire Blossom, Dandylion, and Debris Dragon, you could build a Deck with…
-More Plant-Types, plus cards like Pollinosis
-Water monsters like Swap Frog and Treeborn Frog, along with Spiritual Water Art – Aoi
-Machine-Types like Synchron Explorer and Genex Neutron
But no matter how you build your Quickdraw Deck, Drill Warrior will almost always be the heart of your strategy. Now available as a Super Rare promo card in Duelist Revolution Special Edition, Drill Warrior helps you win your Duels in several different ways. Understanding how it makes you win is hugely important to your success with it, so let’s start with the obvious: damage.
One of them is a slow-paced sleeper hit that came out of nowhere to win the 75th in Edison, the other is, or at least was, the very definition of speed capable of destroying an opponent on a Duelist’s first or second turn. What happens when Quickdraw Dandywarrior and Infernity collide? Find out in tonight’s Monday Night Matchup!
Back in April, the winning Deck at the biggest Yu-Gi-Oh! Tournament of all time was Quickdraw Dandywarrior. Ever since, it’s been a popular choice among Duelists. While some Duelists have moved on to X-Sabers and Infernities, 2 exciting and powerful Decks boosted by cards in The Shining Darkness, there are several new cards that make Quickdraw Dandywarrior Decks stronger than ever as well. Today we’re going to look at these cards, and how they can increase the power of your Deck.
