Last week we revealed two new cards debuting in Return of the Bling: Akiza’s Rose Lover and Rose Paladin, both from the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D’s manga. The Sylvan Decks that emerged from Legacy of the Valiant largely focused on two high-Level cards: Sylvan Hermitree and Tytannial, Princess of Camellias. Special Summoning those monsters with cards like Lonefire Blossom and Miracle Fertilizer let you unlock their powerful control effects, and each was a strong attacker. You could even overlay them for Divine Dragon Knight Felgrand or Alsei, the Sylvan High Protector – plenty of Duelists ran Copy Plant just to mimic one of their Level 8’s for an Xyz Summon.
When Primal Origin hits we’ll get a new suite of Sylvans with a new high-powered Xyz Monster. Instead of a Rank 8 like Alsei, Orea, the Sylvan High Arbiter is a Rank 7 with a vicious field-sweeping ability! Read more…

While Sylvans once relied on Mount Sylvania to search, stack, and excavate the right monsters at the right time, Primal Origin brings a killer new draw card that can set up huge combos and help you see your best cards. Premium Gold is coming soon, and while there a lot of new cards in the set, there are also some great existing cards that have never been Gold Rares before that are finally getting their due! Lonefire Blossom has been an extremely powerful and incredibly well-loved card ever since it was released in Phantom Darkness. While it was originally used to Summon monsters like Gigaplant and Tytannial, Princess of Camellias, it later received heavy play Summoning Dandylion, Spore, and Glow-Up Bulb from the Deck. Lonefire Blossom had fallen out of favour lately, but now that Plant Decks have experienced a revival thanks to the Sylvan monsters from Legacy of the Valiant (and soon, Primal Origin!), Lonefire Blossom is poised for a huge comeback!
