The weekend is over, and these were the Top 4 Decks in the Main Event of YCS Vancouver!

The Sunday Speed Duel ATTACK OF THE GIANT CARD!! is over and served as another showcase for the new Speed Duel: Streets of Battle City Box! Three of the four decks in the Top 4 were all running the same Skill Card from the new set, and two of the Duelists in the Top 4 actually made it to Top 4 yesterday as well!

Every YCS features two Public Events Playoff events: 4-player elimination tournaments that each award an additional Super Rare Prize Card! One is for the 4 Duelists with the most Public Events Points collected over the course of the weekend, and the other lets 4 random Duelists who participated in at least one Public Event duke it out for another Prize Card! 

That means that here at YCS Vancouver, 8 lucky Duelists got a chance at a Super Rare copy of Anotherverse Gluttonia! And here’s the winner of the Random Playoff…

YCS Vancouver is starting to wind down, and as the Finals Match rages on, the two Duelists from the Top 4 who fell just short have one more match to play, for the chance to win a Super Rare copy of the new Prize Card, Anotherverse Gluttonia!

On one side of the table, Christopher LeBlanc from Waltham, Massachusetts. On the other side, Richard Schaber from Stuttgart, Germany. This is Schaber’s first YCS Top Cut and he’s surprised that he’s made it this far! Schaber finished 2nd Place after 10 Rounds of Swiss this weekend, and he’s eager to finish strong with a Prize Card win.

The Prize Wall at any YCS is always a huge attraction, with Duelists trying to win the hottest items from Prize Wall. There are uncut sheets and Giant Cards available. Here’s what 2 of the biggest Prize Wall winners chose. They got some giant wins.

731 Duelists competed, and 4 have emerged on top! Jesse Kotton took first place with his Unchained Deck, while Kody Manabe and Richard Schaber took second place and third place respectively using their own Unchained strategies. Christopher LeBlanc trailed behind in fourth place using his Purrely Deck. Congratulations to all of them!

731 Duelists competed in YCS Vancouver. Now, 1 has emerged victorious!

Jesse Kotton used his Unchained Deck to best the other Duelists competing and claim his fifth Yu-Gi-Oh! Championship Series victory! He’ll be taking home an awesome new trophy to add to his collection, as well as an Ultra Rare Anotherverse Gluttonia Prize Card and other great prizes. Congratulations!

We are in the Top 8 here at YCS Vancouver! We have Bestoor Sedghi from Toronto, ON going up against 5-time YCS Champion Christopher LeBlanc from Waltham, MA. Sedghi is using an Infernoble Knight Deck, while LeBlanc is running Purrely.

Sedghi’s Infernoble Knight Deck got a huge boost with all of the awesome new cards in Duelist Nexus and his deck is filled with Quarter Century Secret Rares of each! LeBlanc’s Deck is Purrely, which is built on Special Summoning powerful Xyz Monsters like Expurrely Noir. LeBlanc is trying this weekend to get his 6th YCS win, so the stakes are high here in Top 8 at YCS Vancouver!
