Here are the Top 3 Duelists of the 250th YCS in Los Angeles!
250th YCS Los Angeles Top 3
Here we have our Top 3, with their Anotherverse Dragon Prize Cards! We have Jesse Flores (2nd Place, left), Shunping Xu (3rd Place, right), and Paulie Aronson (1st Place, center). Congratulations once again to these talented Duelists!
These Duelists put forth an amazing showing here at the 250th
YCS in Los Angeles. While they won’t be able to claim the title, one of them
can still walk away with the Super Rare Anotherverse Dragon Prize Card! It’s
Shunping Xu’s Runick Kashtira against Jacob Banuelos’s Floowandereeze. It’s
time to Duel!
Over 3200 Duelists have been reduced to just the Top 8. This
is the only remaining non-Kashtira matchup in the Top 8. Jesse Flores, from
Dallas, TX, is representing Runick Naturia. He’s up against Hisam Jawhari, from
Louisiana, playing Tri-Brigade Sprights. It’s been a long road for these
Duelists, but only one can move on from here!
Here are the winners of today’s Speed Duel ATTACK OF THE GIANT CARD!! event!
We have Brian Xelo in 1st place, with a GIANT Book of Moon! Next is Jesus Avila in 2nd place with a less giant, but still impressive Book of Moon. And finally, it’s Tuan Nguyen with an oversized Gate Guardian. Congratulations, Speed Duelists!
This Feature Match is a battle of YCS Las Vegas Champions!
Adam Belohradsky, from Stockton, CA, won YCS Las Vegas in 2016 with Dracoslayer
Performapals. He’s facing Alex Cancel, from Houston, TX, who was one of the
winners of TEAM YCS Las Vegas back in February, playing Kashtira. Cancel is still
using Kashtira today, while Belohradsky is playing an extremely different Deck:
Traptrix!
It all comes down to this! Caleb Hernandez, from Upland, CA,
won yesterday’s Dragon Duel event, and he’s back to face Connor Rosenstein,
from Portland, OR, the winner of today’s event! The winner of this Match will
take home a set of the Darklord Prize Cards, as well as the exclusive 250th
YCS Dragon Duel trophy!
We’re getting close to the Top Cut, and California Duelist Andrew Edwards is standing out as the best performing Rikka Sunavalon player. He’s facing off against Connecticut Duelist Paul Aronson, who won the North America Remote Duel YCS in February 2022. Aronson’s playing Kashtira this weekend. These Duelists need one more win in Swiss to secure their Top Cut spot. Edwards will certainly be ready for Kashtira, but will Aronson be prepared for plants?
The first ever GIANT YCS Prize Card has been claimed!
Featured here from right to left, we have Anthony Accettura, Tony Ortiz, and Michael Coca (and also their friend whose name we didn’t get but we’re thrilled he’s here). These Duelists pooled their Public Events tickets to claim Anotherverse Dragon for themselves! This is the first time a YCS Prize Card has been given the Giant Card treatment, making this a historic day for these Duelists!
