Finally, Brandon Lav won the entire tournament, taking home a GIANT Diabellstar the Black Witch to celebrate his achievement! Congratulations to our three winning Duelists!
We’re in the second to last Round of the day, and for this Feature Match we’ve got a really cool surprise! Jim Mayorga is 6-1 using Bystial Crimson King. That’s right, Jack Atlas’s strategy itself, straight from Structure Deck: The Crimson King, combined with Bystial monsters!
His opponent is Mingrui Cai, also 6-1 playing Tearlaments, boosted with the powerful Horus cards from Age of Overlord. Both strategies have been flying under the radar, but both are seeing incredible success today, so this one should be interesting. It’s time to Duel!
Nathaniel Jadotte from New York is currently 4-1 with an unexpected Deck today: Salamangreat! This strategy got some new support in Legendary Duelists: Soulburning Volcano, and it’s started to see more play. His opponent, Shawn Debrew from Washington D.C. is playing Mannadium, powered up with new cards from Age of Overlord, as well as some personal tech picks. It’ll be a fun Duel, but only one competitor can come out of this match with a 5-1 record.

Cameron Neal from Texas is facing off against Carl Gabriel from Maryland. Both Duelists have VIP status, so they both started with a 2-round bye. While Neal secured his VIP status by winning the Summer Ultimate Duelist Series tournament in Kansas City in 2018, and Gabriel won his local VIP Qualifier, which gives every Duelist a shot at being a VIP at the Yu-Gi-Oh! Championship Series.
Neal is piloting Unchained, while Gabriel’s on Bystial Dragon Link. These competitors are fresh and ready to go, so it’s time to Duel!
Arturo Maruri Jr. hails from Greensboro North Carolina, and this weekend he’s playing Tearlaments, a popular Deck among competitors here in Day 1. Aubrey Richardson, from Baltimore Maryland, is playing Heroes. Both of these Duelists are eager to start the Match!

ATTACK OF THE GIANT CARD!! is a fan-favorite Public Event, and with good reason. Who doesn’t love seeing GIANT versions of their favorite cards? This weekend there are 3 events awarding these GIANT-sized prizes, as well as oversized cards for the top-ranked finishers.
The retro format Ultimate Time Wizard Tournament is an extremely popular event, and the prize for this weekend’s tournament is none other than the legendary Xyz Monster, Minerva, the Exalted Lightsworn!
Both Duelists are already going to compete in the World Championship in Tokyo, Japan on August 5th-6th, but their tournament isn’t over. They have one hard fought Duel left, to decide who is going to finish in Third Place at the North America World Championship Qualifier. It’s a Kashtira mirror match, which both Duelists are extremely familiar with. One final Duel to finish this tournament out. Who will win? Gerardo Varela or Enzo Fiallos Velasco? Let’s find out.
