After a weekend of intense Dueling, Ecuadorian Marco Jonatan Oviedo Castro wins the South American World Championship Qualifier with his Wind-Up Deck.  He will be representing South America at the World Championship in Tokyo!

In second place is Jhon Fredy Duran Diaz, a native of Colombia, with his Chaos Dragon Deck!

We’re drawing to a close for Day 1 as we finish Round 8.  Let’s see what type of Decks are at the Top 8 tables.

Looks like Dino Rabbits, Inzektors, Wind-Ups and Chaos Dragons are neck-and-neck at 3 Decks each.  There’s a Gadget-Machina, Final Countdown, HERO-Skill and the Deck that won the Central American WCQ last week – Six Samurai, at the Top 8 tables.
