Denny Yu from Sacramento, California is Dueling against Brian Rayos from Los Angeles, California in the most important Match of their lives. The winner will make it to the Top 4 and be invited to compete in the World Championship – the other Duelist will be eliminated. It’s time to Duel!
We are down to the Top 8! Here are the pairings for the round, with these matches determining who will earn an invite to the World Championship in Japan!
And we’re now at Top 16! Walter Jule finished Swiss in 27th place as the only one of two Duelists to take Pendulum Magician into Top 64. His opponent is Russell Kenneth Novak-Burdick who finished Swiss in 54th with a Trickstar Sky Striker Deck. Pendulum Magicians have had to adapt since losing Astrograph Sorcerer in the latest Forbidden and Limited List, but it’s still clearly a Deck to be considered! Only one of these Duelists will move on to the Top 8. Who will move on? It’s time to Duel!
Chester Henson from Georgetown, Kentucky was the 2017 North America World Championship Qualifier winner. Just one year ago, he took first place and earned an invitation to the World Championship in Tokyo, Japan; but because of his work schedule, he was unable to attend the World Championship, and his invitation passed down to the fifth place Duelist, allowing Aaron Furman to attend the World Championship in his place. Now, Chester Henson is here again, Dueling his way back to another paid trip to Tokyo, Japan and an invitation to compete in the 2018 Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME World Championship. Henson is using a Gouki Deck, and he’s facing off against Russell Novak-Burdick and his Trickstar Sky Strikers in the Top 32 in a Match that will determine which one of these Duelists advances to the Top 16. It’s time to Duel!
