While the World Championship Qualifier brings together Duelists who qualified over the last year, the WCQ also brings together fans of the Yu-Gi-Oh! series!
We found Bandit Keith – well, really Shawn Patton from Pittsburgh – in the crowd at the WCQ alongside Joey Wheeler – actually Alexis, also from Pittsburgh at the 2019 North America WCQ.
For the first time ever at a North America WCQ, after 12 Rounds of Swiss, there is a TIE for 64th place!
Tavin Gadsby and William Rodriguez, both of whom achieved 9-3 records in the Swiss Rounds, have identical tiebreakers! They will be playing off in a Match against one another to determine which Duelist will take that final spot in the Top 64, and which Duelist will be eliminated.
