13-year-old Connor R. from Portland, Oregon has been Dueling since he was 10 years old and is now in the Top 4 of North America’s most prestigious Dragon Duel tournament of the year. His opponent, 13-year-old James H. from Eauclair, Wisconsin, has also been Dueling for about three years and is now facing off against Connor in this Top 4 Match. Connor is using a Mekk-Knight Deck, while James is using Sky Strikers. One of these Duelists will advance to the Finals, and the other will be eliminated. It’s time to Duel!
Diego Romero from Peru used his Salamangreat to win the South America Dragon Duel WCQ. This will be the second year in a row that Diego will be representing South America at the Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship.

As the South American WCQ heads into Round 3, the final Round of Day 1 in the South American Dragon Duel Championship is about to begin. We’ve already featured two returning Champions in the WCQ so far, but over in the Dragon Duel there’s another former Champ back in action, looking for another title. 2014 South American Dragon Duel Champion, Joaquin Fernando Leites from Argentina, is taking a regular Kozmo build against Brazil’s Pedro Ernesto Barbosa Silveira’s Fire King Kozmos at Table 2, with the winner making it straight into the Top 4 tomorrow.
Seven Rounds of competition this weekend had come to this – two talented youth Duelists, about to throw down for the title of 2016 Dragon Duel Champion of Central America! The winner here would go on to represent Central America at the 2016 Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME Dragon Duel World Championship in Orlando Florida in August.
