The Finals of the DUEL LINKS Main Event in this weekend’s Remote Duel Extravaganza pits Philipp Thomas (“Sniffer”) against Vincent Bellafiore (“VBellafiore”) in an Odd-Eyes Orcust mirror-Match! Both Duelists are using Yuya’s Raging Pendulum Skill, which can grab them a random “Performapal” monster during the Duel and allows them to add an Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon and a “Magician” Pendulum Monster face-up to the Extra Deck. In addition, this Skill allows them to treat Xyz Monsters as Level 7 monsters when Xyz Summoning Odd-Eyes Raging Dragon, letting them unleash the Raging Dragon’s full power!
The Orcust engine gives both Duelists access to the powerful Dingirsu, the Orcust of the Evening Star, making this Deck one of the strongest Decks currently available in Yu-Gi-Oh! DUEL LINKS. Check out the videos of their Match below!
The Top 4 Feature Match for the DUEL LINKS Main Event pits Philipp Thomas (“Sniffer”) and his Odd-Eyes Orcust Deck against Davide Magri (“Davide Magri”) and his Rokket Deck!
Thomas is using Yuya’s Raging Pendulum Skill, which can add a random “Performapal” monster to his hand in a pinch and lets him fill up his Extra Deck with powerful monsters to Pendulum Summon! The Skill also allows him to treat Xyz Monsters as Level 7 monsters when Summoning Odd-Eyes Raging Dragon, allowing him to Summon Odd-Eyes Raging Dragon with its full potential unlocked. Magri is using Varis’s Borrel Launch Skill, which gives him immediate access to Boot Sector Launch and can place Dillingerous Dragon into his Graveyard from outside of his Deck after Turn 4. Check out the Match in the videos below!
Welcome to the Speed Duel finals! The final two Duelists are here, looking to claim the Ultra Rare Jinzo Speed Duel Prize Card! First up is Steven De Lara, from Orange County, CA, playing Vehicroids! This Deck uses the Syrus Skill Card Small Roid Big City to get the right monsters for any situation, and also as a way to put extra cards to use. He’s up against Jara Sicking, from Germany, who is playing in her first ever Speed Duel tournament! She learned about the format recently at YCS London, and clearly has taken an affinity to it. She’s using Vampires with the Yami Marik Skill Card Twisted Personality. This skill turns life loss into discard and destruction, and the Vampires have a lot of effects with Life Point payments. Sicking mentioned that De Lara was her only loss in the Swiss rounds – will she get her revenge, or will De Lara get a repeat victory? It’s time to Duel!
This is it! The winner of this Match will be the champion of the July 2023 Remote Duel Extravaganza TCG Main Event and receive all of the prizes associated with winning, including Ultra Rare copies of Darklord Asmodeus, Darklord Superbia, and Darklord Edeh Arae. Christopher LeBlanc and his Purrely Deck are about to face off against Carlos Perez and his Labrynth Deck. Waltham, Massachusetts’s Christopher LeBlanc is a 5-time YCS winner. Carlos Perez from Ecuador is a former Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME World Championship competitor. It’s a battle between titans in this final Match! For the last time this weekend in the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG Main Event, it’s time to Duel!
Only four Duelists remain! Hailing from Austin, TX, Nicholas
Petzold is back in the Feature Match seat. He won his Round
2 Feature Match yesterday with Marincess! He’s facing Carlos Perez Padilla,
from Ecuador, playing a Labrynth Deck! These are two wildly different strategies,
and only one can move on to the finals for a shot at the Ultra Rare Darklord Prize
Cards! It’s time to Duel!
The Remote Duel Extravaganza is nearing its finale – we’re
down to the Top 16 Duelists! Only one can earn the set of Ultra Rare Prize
Cards: Darklord Asmodeus, Darklord Superbia, and Darklord Edeh
Arae!
To kick things off, we’re back with Emmanuel Lilly and his Generaider Deck! This New York Duelist won his Round 5 Feature Match yesterday, and he’s returned to show off this unique strategy. His opponent is Leonardo Sacchetti, from Italy, playing Kashtira. It’s the most popular Deck for a reason, with a lot of powerful monsters and consistent combos. Will Kashtira be able to overcome the wall of disruption created by the Generaiders?
Check out the final Match that decided the winner of this weekend’s MASTER DUEL Main Event at the Remote Duel Extravaganza!
The Finals were played out by Shaun McDonald (“Sorvent”) and Andrew Pifferrer (“m o i s t”). Andrew chose to use the fan-favorite HERO Deck for all three Duels, whereas Shaun swapped Decks for each Duel, as the rules of the tournament permitted. Watch the action here!
Pierluigi Sorrentino from Italy and Hector Perez from Chile are facing off in Round 6 of the Remote Duel Extravaganza Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG Main Event! Sorrentino is piloting a Branded Despia Deck, while Perez is using a Kashtira Deck. Both Duelists currently have 3-1-1 records in the tournament, so they’ll each need a win in this round in order to have a chance at a Top Cut finish. They may be on different continents right now, but they both have the same goal of winning this Match! It’s time to Duel!
Welcome to Round 5! We’re halfway into the first day of the
Main Event of the Remote Duel Extravaganza, and we have a sweet Feature Match for
you! Emmanuel Lilly is a New York Duelist playing Generaiders! This Deck looks
to land a ton of powerful Level 9 boss monsters and shut down the opponent’s
plays. It’s backed by an Invoked engine, and even includes the new Revolution
Synchron! His opponent is Qiuchi Zhu, a Nebraska Duelist playing Purrely.
Lilly remarked that he’d played three Purrely Duelists in a row at this point.
Would that give him the edge, or will Zhu be the Purrely Duelist to finally
take Lilly down?
Jarrid Centamore from Galloway, New Jersey and Hossam Nasr from Charleston, South Carolina are both currently 3-0 in the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG Remote Duel Extravaganza Main Event! Centamore is using a Runick Deck featuring Sleipnir the Runick Mane and the new Illusion monsters from Duelist Nexus. Nasr is using a Kashtira Deck. One of these Duelists will advance with a 4-0 record. It’s time to Duel!
