Round 1 of the Ultimate Duelist Series Invitational is the warm-up. Round 2 is where players with 200 points come into the tournament having spent Round 1 on the sidelines. They start the tournament with a 1-0 record, which is an incredible advantage. Tyler Pfeifer, the winner of the Winter 2019 UDS Invitational, is here with Sky Strikers – the same strategy that won him the belt in March, at Table 1001 (in the VIP section of the room) taking on Kevin Bortle from Dallas, Texas. Bortle has a Traptrix Deck, which takes advantage of the Link Monster Traptrix Sera but also uses Number 39: Utopia Double to quickly end the Duel provided the opponent leaves a monster with 2000 or less ATK on the field in Attack Position. It’s a strategy that can pull wins out of nowhere versus one of the most consistent Decks in the field. It’s time to Duel!
