Kevin Moyers from Virginia is Dueling against Vincent Bellafiore from Maryland in our Round 3 Feature Match! Moyers is using an all-new Kozmo Deck, featuring the new Kozmo monsters available in Clash of Rebellions. Bellafiore, on the other hand, is using a tried-and-true Burning Abyss Deck. Since Burning Abyss Decks typically contain lots of card effects that target monsters, including the effects of Fire Lake of the Burning Abyss and Farfa, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss, they generally have a tough time taking down Kozmo Forerunner, which can’t be targeted by an opponent’s card effects. Will Moyers be able to use his Forerunners to defeat Bellafiore and his infernal monsters? We’re about to find out. It’s time Duel!

Staten Island, New York’s Stephen Matrangolo qualified for this weekend’s tournament by racking up UDS points in Regional Qualifiers. Now, he’s Dueling against New Jersey’s YCS veteran Ned Salkovitch in our Round 1 Feature Match! Matrangolo is using an innovative Red-Eyes Deck that features several new cards from Clash of Rebellions, including The Black Stone of Legend, Red-Eyes Black Flare Dragon, and Red-Eyes Flare Metal Dragon. Salkovitch is playing a Nekroz Deck – a Deck that has proven itself powerful under the previous Forbidden & Limited List, and that many Duelists believe is still a top contender in the Advanced Format. Although a Duelist may enter the Ultimate Duelist Series Invitational – Summer 2015 with as few as 100 UDS Points, Duelists with more points are eligible for additional prizes. Duelists who use 150 UDS Points to participate will receive, in addition to their lanyard and pin, an Ultimate Duelist Series Invitational Medal that they can attach to their lanyard to commemorate their achievement.
