Baum is using X-Sabers and Dal Porto is playing Plant Synchro, so this is sure to be an interesting Match! Read more…
QQ stands for Quick Questions! Though Duelists are only starting to feel the impact of Starstrike Blast, the next Booster Set, Storm of Ragnarok, already looms on the horizon. Releasing in February next year, Storm brings with it new support for The Six Samurai, Blackwings, Watts, and more. But it also includes three new Synchro Monsters: the Aesir. With the power of the Nordic Gods just a few months away, we took some time to ask Duelists, “Who’s the coolest Aesir Monster: Thor, Odin, or Loki?” Read more…
Two teammates and friends with the exact same Decks were now Dueling for the title of Champion. We already knew the winning Deck. Now, we just needed a winning Duelist.
“Could you imagine this would be us?” asked McCabe, shuffling his Deck.
Smith laughed: “Same Deck, same Extra Deck, same Side Deck?” McCabe grinned, as Smith gave a bit of explanation: “We were talking online for 2 weeks making this Deck. We’re staying in the same hotel room. Last night he was like ‘you know, we could play eacother tomorrow. You want to practice the mirror Match?’ And I was like, ‘No way! Let’s get some sleep!’” McCabe laughed again. Read more…
Ronald Mack and Brandon Wigley both lost their Top 4 Matches, and were now facing off for 3rd place in a battle between Gravekeeper’s and X-Sabers. The winner here would receive a Super Rare Set of Darklord Prize Cards, so both Duelists will be giving this Match their all! Read more…
Frazier Smith has beaten out 869 other Duelists to win the Yu-Gi-Oh! Championship Series main event in Atlanta, Georgia!

At the runner-up table, Gravekeeper Duelist Ronald Mack defeated X-Saber Duelist Brandon Wigley for 3rd place. Gravekeepers swept the top 3 spots in this event, taking home all 3 sets of YCS Prize Cards from the main event!
We’re here in Atlanta for the last YCS of 2010. But not all of today’s competitors are veteran tournament-goers who have been to a YCS before this one. For many of the Duelists in attendance, this is their first-ever YCS experience! I asked some of the YCS first-timers what they think of it. Take a look at their replies! Read more…
We’re not sure who the winner is yet, but one thing is clear: a Gravekeeper Deck will win this event!
In the semi-finals, Gravekeeper Duelist Sean McCabe defeated fellow Gravekeeper Duelist Ronald Mack.
In the other semi-final Match, Gravekeeper Duelist Frazier Smith defeated X-Saber Duelist Brandon Wigley.
The Final Round will pit Sean McCabe against Frazier Smith in a Gravekeeper mirror match!
Brandon Wigley is the last X-Saber Duelist remaining in the tournament. His opponent, Frazier Smith, is a Gravekeeper Duelist who worked on his Deck with the two other Top 4 competitors. With 2 Gravekeeper’s Decks facing off at the other Top 4 table, a victory here for Smith would guarantee a YCS victory for Gravekeepers. Read more…
