Jack Hoyt has fourteen Dragon Duel Championships under his belt, but he’s turning 13-years old on March 1st, so this is his last chance to win a Dragon Duel at a YCS. 10-year-old Oliver Tomajko still has years of Dragon Dueling ahead of him, but is nonetheless doing everything he can to stop Hoyt in his Dragon Dueling rampage. Both Duelists are currently 3-0 in the Dragon Duels, and a victory here will allow one of them to finish off the tournament undefeated. Both of these competitors are twelve years old, and both are undefeated here in the Dragon Duel tournament! Keyshawn Johnson traveled all the way from Oakland, California to play Six Samurais, while his opponent Sean Vo is running Gravekeepers – a Deck that’s bucked the expected trends to see significant success in the YCS main event. At this event, the denizens of Midgard have received their first of the new Regional Game Mats, for the Storm of Ragnarok era! Emblazoned with Viking heraldry, and the likenesses of the mightiest Aesir, these are truly a work to behold.
These Game Mats will soon be available everywhere to worthy mortals in Regional Qualifiers. So compete against your fellow Duelists – and triumph! Or simply bask in the glory of battle!
The first Game Mats are being awarded this weekend, to the young Einherjar who triumph in this weekend’s Dragon Duels! They shall be the first to festoon their Duels with such finery.
