QQ: What Deck Are You Playing?

QQ stands for Quick Questions!  It’s a brand new Advanced Format, and while some of the most popular Decks of the Summer have been adapted for the new changes, many competitors have developed entirely new strategies.  The field is wide open here today, filled with old favorites and new rogue strategies that could be the next best thing.  With that level of variety and variance in mind, we asked: “What Deck are you playing, here at the first YCS of the format?”

QQ stands for Quick Questions! With no previous tournaments to key off of in this brand new Advanced Format, it’s anybody’s guess as to what you could play here at YCS Toronto. QQ stands for Quick Questions! When Team New World took on Team 5D’s, the Signers’ Dragons clashed with the villains’ Meklords in a 3-on-3 Turbo Duel that determined the fate of the world! Throughout the Duel, Primo, Lester, and Jakob, eventually taking the form of Aporia, Summoned their Meklord Emperors in an effort to rid the world of Synchro Summons! QQ: Your Favorite Change For September 1st

QQ stands for Quick Questions! The changes to the Forbbiden and Limited Lists on September 1st brought a slew of fan-favorite cards back into the competitive fold of competitive dueling. Cards like Black Luster Soldier – Envoy of the Beginning; Heavy Storm; and Summoner Monk are making a big impression on the field here this weekend, but some of the most popular changes were more about cards that were removed. QQ: What’s Your Opinion on Starlight Road?

QQ stands for Quick Questions! Now that Judgment Dragon is Unlimited and Heavy Storm is back in the format, cards are constantly being swept to the Graveyard in groups. Some Duelists see this as an opportunity to spring Starlight Road on their opponents, while others still avoid using Starlight Road in their Decks, fearing that it’ll be useless if an opponent doesn’t trigger it.
