The Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME is 10 years old in North America. But not everyone has been Dueling since La Jinn the Mystical Genie of the Lamp, 7 Colored Fish, and Mechanicalchaser reigned supreme.

With just three rounds of Swiss competition left in this tournament, it’s a great time to take another look at the top 4 tables! This round saw Dino Rabbit, Inzektors, and Wind-Ups square off with the likes of Gravekeepers and Chain Burn. Check it out!

Gabriel Perez from Sacramento, California and David Lopez from Tucson, Arizona are currently 8-1. Perez is running a Piper Chaos Deck that uses a bunch of Level 1 monsters and Mystic Piper to draw cards before winning the Duel with Chaos monsters. Lopez is running a T.G. Deck with King Tiger Wanghu and Skill Drain in it. Skill Drain may be problematic for Perez’s small Effect Monsters, but his big attackers may help him to overwhelm Lopez, even without access to the effects of generally important monsters like Kinka-Byo.

Victor Santana is 6-2 so far today, coming off a win in the last round. Both of these Duelists are clinging to life in this tournament. A 10-2 finish by the end of the twelve rounds of Swiss competition may qualify a Duelist for the top 64, but a 9-3 finisher will have a much harder time. Everything was on the line from here on out.
