Dueling for the title of Yu-Gi-Oh! Championship Series Columbus Winner!
YCS Las Vegas winner Denny Yu has made it all the way to the Top 8 and is really looking for another win to add to his résumé. Ned Salkovitch on the other hand has not been lucky enough to take down a whole YCS, but that won’t stop him from trying his best today to do it. This Quarter finals match pits two friends against one another in a Nekroz mirror match, both trying to do their best to take it all.
Salkovitch won the roll and chose for Yu to start.
Our Top 16 Match pits Max Reynolds against Tyree Tinsley. Tinsley just came off of last Feature Match with a swift 2-0, and Reynolds has been earning several Top 8’s at Regional Qualifiers over the past couple months with Nekroz. This is another Nekroz Mirror Match with two masters of the Deck, so we’re bound to see some awesome combos that we wouldn’t necessarily see in the average Feature Match. Reynolds won the die roll and opted to go second.
We’ve narrowed down over 1700 competitors to just the Top 32, and there are a ton of big name Duelists that made the top cut. Two of those big names are none other than Barrett Keys and Tyree Tinsley. Both of these Duelists are experienced and are playing Nekroz teched out to win the Mirror Match. Whoever loses here goes home with a respectable Top 32 rank, but winner has the opportunity to take the whole event! This is sure to be a high pressure game with tons of stellar plays. Tinsley won the die roll and chose second.
