There is always something to do at a YCS. Players who have dropped from the Main Event and those who want a smaller, often more casual event, will participate in one or more of the many Public Events we offer at all of our YCS events.
There are events for everyone, such as ATTACK OF THE GIANT CARD!!, Battle Pack Epic Dawn Sealed, Xyz Symphony Starter, Samurai Warlords Structure, 2013 Regional Qualifier flights, Retro Draft, and Classic Draft tournaments. For those up and coming Duelists born on the year 2000 or later, we also have a tournament designed specifically for you…Dragon Duel!
Each event will offer its own prizing, in some cases, awarding an invite to your region’s World Championship Qualifier!
It takes a lot of different pieces to come together in order for an event such as a YCS to be successful. One of the most vital of these pieces is your Judge team. We are very proud to have such a great group of volunteers dedicate their time (and quite often, very long hours) to make these events the success they are.
We have a very diverse group of Judges here this weekend. The Head Judge, Assistant Head Judge, and Team Leaders all have many years worth of Premier Level event experience, so the event is in good hands.
Good luck to all of the Judges!
Good morning Duelists! Welcome to Guatemala City, Guatemala for the Yu-Gi-Oh! Championship Series tournament! This marks the first Central American YCS held outside of Mexico! We have representatives from many countries, including El Salvador, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, Colombia, Venezuela, Panama, United States, and of course, Guatemala. Each of these Duelists have gathered here to have fun, meet new people, and Duel against some of the very best that Central America has to offer. At the end of the weekend, the Top 3 Duelists in the main event will walk away with their very own copy of new YCS prize card, Digvorzhak, King of Heavy Industry. In addition, Duelists will have the chance to win the prize card by participating in Public Events throughout the weekend.
We look forward to an exciting YCS and wish all the Duelists the best of luck.
