Souvick Kar from Atlanta, Georgia went 9-2 this weekend with his Evilswarm Deck featuring Evilswarm Exciton Knight in his Extra Deck. David Gancedo from Miami, Florida finished the Swiss Rounds with a 10-1 record using Fire Fists. Unlike many Fire Fist competitors in attendance this weekend, Gancedo uses several Fire Formation Trap Cards and Brotherhood of the Fire Fist – Dragon in his Deck. One of these Duelists will advance to the Top 16, where they will participate in the first-ever Top 16 YCS Draft!

Da Lee is a huge fan of Lightsworn monsters, and frequently uses them in YCS tournaments. He’s back with his Lightsworn Deck this weekend, and this time he piloted it to a 9-1 record. Lee’s Round 11 opponent, Yicheng Li, is hoping to take down Lee with his Prophecy Deck. Only one of these Duelists can finish the Swiss Rounds with a 10-1 record and a guaranteed Top 32 finish. QQ stands for Quick Questions! The newest Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME booster set – Legacy of the Valiant – was just released about a week ago. Duelists are still looking through cards to determine which ones work best with their strategies. We’re in the final round of Swiss play, and we’re back with Thomas Lippman and his Archfiend Deck! He took a loss in his Feature Match yesterday, but he’s still got a great record. If he wins this Match, he’s got a good chance of making it into the Top 32. He’ll have to beat Michael Alibakhsh to do that, who’s packing a Geargia Deck capable of slowly controlling the game, or exploding thanks to Karakuri Synchro Monsters.
