Welcome to Day 2 here in Dallas, its a big day here in Texas as the Dallas Cowboys play the Houston Texas later at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, we are just down the street and Round 10 has just begun. Here are you Pairings for Round 10.
For our Feature Match this round we have two-time YCS Champion Billy Brake battling with 60 Card Control Deck! He’s playing Shaddolls, Burning Abyss, and Artifacts and uses cards like Kuribandit and The Beginning of the End to gain a ton of advantage and take over the Duel. His opponent, Irvin Breton, is Dueling with a Satellarknight Artifact variant, a very popular choice today. Can Brake’s crazy strategy come out on top? Or will the consistency of Satellarknight put Brake on too fast of a clock?
Brake rolled a 6 to Breton’s 7, Breton chose to go first.
QQ stands for Quick Questions! The Duelist Alliance Booster Pack didn’t just unleash new Deck themes, but it also introduced tons of individual cards that are seeing tournament play – some tied to named themes, and some that stand entirely on their own! With the set still relatively new, we asked players to shout out their favorite card from DUEA.
Here are your Dragon Duel Top 4.
With Coach Soldier Wolfbark making its way off of the Forbidden & Limited List, both Fire King and Fire Fist is looking to get a lot better. Brendan Perry thought exactly that and brought Fire King Artifact to Duel with this weekend. He is currently sitting at a 5-1 record, and is looking pretty good at this point in the tournament. His opponent is Monny Weatherly-Locascio, playing a Satellarknight strategy teched with Main Deck Mind Crush. Will this pay off for him or will an access to a full playset of Coach Soldier Wolfbark put Perry’s deck over the top?
Perry roles a 5 to Weatherly’s 6, so Weatherly chooses to go first.
