Steven De Lara and Barrett Keys both made it to the Finals this weekend after masterfully using their Nekroz Decks in the Swiss Rounds and then skillfully drafting Battle Pack 3: Monster League. They Dueled against each other during Round 2 of the tournament, and their Match ended in a draw. Now, both of these Californian Duelists will be Dueling once again, and this time, there must be a clear victor. One of these two Duelists is about to become the champion of YCS Tacoma. It’s time to Duel!

Local Duelist Kritin Deo and California’s Steve De Lara are 2 Duelists who made it to the Top 16 with their Nekroz Decks. Each of them is fresh off a Top 16 win with their Battle Pack 3: Monster League draft Decks and now they’re Dueling against one another to determine who will advance to the Top 4. It’s time to Duel!
Ankit Sujith is our Saturday Dragon Duel Champion, now trying to battle it out with his Chaos Dragon Deck to take the title of YCS Tacoma Dragon Duel Champion! His opponent is no slouch though, Garrett Price is our Sunday Dragon Duel Champion and is Dueling with his Tellarknights and wants the win just as badly. Both of them are from the local area, so they are trying to keep the title at home.

Both Duelists shuffled up quickly, it was clear that they were eager to Duel and see who would advance. We featured Luka Soskic earlier on Day One, but we have yet to do one for Bradly Philip. Both made it through the Swiss rounds with Nekroz and Qliphort respectively, and now they are trying to make their way to the Top 4 in hopes of winning an Ascension Sky Dragon.
Both Duelists rolled snake eyes, but after a re-roll Soskic won and chose for Philip to go first.
Elvis Vu has showcased experience with the Battle Pack: 3 Monster League at YCS Charleston by claiming 3rd place, and now he is back with vengeance trying to claim the true title. His opponent Kritin Deo is here to stop him though because he wants to take the tournament himself; who will show the superior Battle Pack mastery and move on to the Top 8?
