Top 4 Feature Match: Jose Uriel Diaz versus Jose Lagunes

Jose Uriel Diaz from Chicago, Illinois finished the Swiss Rounds with a 10-1 record using his Kozmo Deck, and is the last remaining Kozmo Duelist in the tournament. Now, he’s Dueling against Mexico’s Jose Lagunes and his Performapal Pendulum Deck in a Match that will determine which Duelist advances to the Finals. It’s time to Duel!

Thomas Rowe from Cleveland, Ohio and Santos Garcia from Houston, Texas both finished the Swiss Rounds with a 9-2 record using their Performapal Pendulum Decks. So far, they’ve both been on winning streaks in the Single Elimination Rounds, coasting through the Top 32 and Top 16. But now, they’re facing off against one another in a Match that will determine which one of these Duelists will advance to the Top 4. It’s time to Duel!

Dragon Duel Feature Match: Round 3 (Sunday)

You may remember Dylan McGaha from yesterday’s Dragon Duel tournament. He’s back in this one and is once again at table 1 in the last round of Swiss. This time around, he’s facing a newcomer to the Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME; Logan Elliot from Willacoochee, Georgia. Before today, he’s never played a game of Yu-Gi-Oh! and today is his very first event.

Jose Uriel Diaz de Leon is the last Kozmo player left in a sea of Performapal Pendulum players. His Deck and skills have taken him to top 16 and he’s looking to advance further.   Can he overcome Oscar Wener Zelaya Jr.’s Performage Pendulum Deck? Left’s find out!

Top 32 Feature Match: Billy Brake versus Frazier Smith

Billy Brake and Frazier Smith are no strangers to the Top 32. Brake and Smith are both former Yu-Gi-Oh! Championship Series winners, with Smith’s own YCS victory being right here in Atlanta, Georgia back in 2010! Smith is shooting to replicate his previous YCS success here in Atlanta, while Brake is looking for what would be his fourth Yu-Gi-Oh! Championship Series victory. Brake and Smith both finished the Swiss Rounds with a 9-2 record using their Performapal Pendulum Decks; but now they’re Dueling against one another in a Match that will determine which one of them can advance to the Top 16! The stakes are high, as both Duelists are hungry for a victory. It’s time to Duel!

Top 32: Faisal Ahmad Khan versus Nicolai Mikhail Howlett

32 competitors have survived 11 rounds of Swiss and now we’re in the Single Elimination playoff rounds! These players have already won the top cut Game Mat featuring Minerva, the Exalted Lightsworn but now have a chance to win the Minerva prize card in addition to other prizes, but one loss here will knock a Duelist from contention!

This is 17-year-old Faisal Khan’s second trip to the YCS Top Cut, his previous appearance was at YCS Columbus 2015. His opponent, Nicolai Howlett, is looking to take his first trip to the playoffs as far as he can. Both players are running the Performapal Pendulum strategy that has dominated the tournament floor today. Which one of these competitor will advance to Top 16? Let’s find out!

Round 10: Billy Brake versus Brett Alan Teslaa

3-time YCS Champion Billy Brake from Dallas Texas is back in action this weekend, qualifying for Day 2 with a Performapal Pendulum Deck. He’s facing Brett Alan Teslaa from outside of Detroit, Michigan running Kozmo. There’s only 2 rounds left before the cut to Top 32, so every win is important from here on out. Both players have 1 loss this weekend, so another loss can turn a near-guaranteed Top 32 into uncertainty. Who will come out victorious here? Let’s find out!

Round 10 Feature Match: Alexander Simpson versus Christian Zukowski

Alexander Simpson from Kansas City, Missouri and Christian Zukowski from New Jersey have both made it to Day 2 with Decks that are less prevalent on the tournament scene. Simpson is currently 7-2 with his Burning Abyss Deck, featuring Fiendish Rhino Warrior from Breakers of Shadow, while Christian Zukowski is currently 6-1-2 with his Majespecter Deck that includes 3 copies of Majespecter Toad – Ogama, 2 copies of Majespecter Sonics, and 1 Majespecter Supercell from Breakers of Shadow. A loss in this Match will dash one of these Duelist’s hopes of a Top 32 finish. It’s time to Duel!
