YCS Mexico City: Top 32: Feature Match

Jonathan Giancarlo Galarza Arevalo from Lima, Peru is Dueling against Mexico’s Javier Alejandro Valadez Solis in a Match in our Top 32 Feature Match! Valadez is using a DARK HERO Synchro Deck that uses old favorites like Destiny Draw, Destiny HERO – Diamond Dude, Destiny HERO – Malicious, and Plaguespreader Zombie, as well as new Synchro Monsters like Ultimaya Tzolkin and Coral Dragon, to overwhelm his opponents with massive fields. Galarza is using an Odd-Eyes Deck that capitalizes on Pendulum Summons whenever possible. One of these Duelists will advance to the Top 16, while the other will be eliminated. It’s time to Duel!

YCS Mexico City: Round 10 Feature Match: Marco Polo Morales Mascarenas vs. Rene Francisco Gonzalez Pacheco

Marco Polo Morales Mascarenas from the State of Mexico and Rene Francisco Gonzalez Pacheco from Queretaro, Mexico are both currently 7-2 entering this final round of Swiss. That means a victory in this round would most likely translate into a Top 32 finish, while defeat is likely to equate with elimination. That means they will both be Dueling their hardest to win in this final round.

Morales and Gonzalez are both using Pendulum-based strategies this weekend, but Morales’s strategy is less traditional. Morales is using Performapal and Dinomist cards in his Deck, while Gonzalez’s strategy is geared around the Majespecter and Odd-Eyes monsters. Which strategy will prevail and make it into the Top 32? We’re about to find out. It’s time to Duel!
