YCS Atlanta: Dragon Duel Championship

It all comes down to this! We have Tommy Armour, Saturday’s Dragon Duel winner, against Jackson Sayre, Sunday’s winner. While the Duelists used Sealed Decks in the main Dragon Duel tournaments, now they’ve got to win using their own Advanced Format Decks. The victor here will get a set of Darklord YCS Prize Cards, and a YCS Dragon Duel Champion trophy!

YCS Atlanta: Round 11 Feature Match – Johnny Nagel vs. Alen Dekhanov

This is the final round of Swiss play – the results here will determine the Top 32. We’ve got Johnny Nagel, from Denver, CO (location of the next YCS!), who’s playing a 58-card Kaiju Zoodiac Deck. He’s not using That Grass Looks Greener – rather, he runs so many cards to counter opponents using That Grass Looks Greener instead! He and several friends have found great success here and in YCS Seattle using this strategy. He’s facing Alen Dekhanov, from Norfolk, VA. Dekhanvov is using a regular sized Zoodiac Deck. With a smaller Deck he may have more consistency to give him the edge in this Duel.

YCS Atlanta: Round 10 Feature Match – Marcus Fontice vs. Matthew Hagan

We’re kicking off Day 2 of YCS Atlanta with a Feature Match of two unique Decks. Marcus Fontice is here from Florida, and he’s brought along a Zoodiac Shaddoll Deck! Since so many opponents are using Zoodiacs or other Extra Deck monsters, now is a perfect time to be using Shaddoll Fusion. He’s up against Matthew Hagan, from Houston, who’s packing a 60-card Invoked Burning Abyss Phantom Knight Deck, with That Grass Looks Greener to turn the Deck into overdrive.

YCS Atlanta: Round 9 Feature Match: Katie Bennett vs. Patrick Lewter

We’re in Round 9! This is the final Round of the day, and only the top Duelists will be moving on from this point; and yet, we are here at the last Table in the tournament with Duelists who have no shot of advancing. Why do they persist? Because these Duelists are showing that despite everything, they’re still here to Duel!
