Out of 717 Duelists, only four remain! We featured San Francisco’s Anderson Tsang earlier today, where he blew away his opponent in a swift 2-0 victory using his Infernoid Deck. He’s up against Ayinde Ross from Los Angeles, who is using a Metalfoes Deck. Metalfoes have had a very impressive showing at this event, thanks to the added consistency of Baobaboon.
The Dragon Duel Championship of YCS Denver came down to a rematch between Diego Diaz and Andy Tran! Yesterday in Sealed Deck, Andy defeated Diaz, dropping him to 3rd place overall while Andy went on to win the tournament. Today, they’ll battle it out in the Advanced Format – Diego’s D/D/D Deck against Andy’s Dark Magician Deck! With a set of Darklord Prize Cards on the line, it was time to Duel!
We’re in the final round of Swiss here at YCS Denver! This Match features a Deck that’s a bit of a surprise: Kozmos! David Lopez, from Phoenix, AZ, is using a Kozmo Deck built to beat the meta! He’s playing triple Kozmoll Wickedwitch, which is amazing against Zoodiac Drident and can even interrupt Paleozoics (since they need to be Special Summoned in direct response to a Trap Card). His opponent is Anderson Tsang, from San Francisco, CA, who is using Infernoids – definitely one of the strongest Decks right now, partly thanks to That Grass Looks Greener. It’s time to Duel!
