David Mendoza won it all this weekend with an innovative Danger Deck featuring Gizmek Orochi and Gren Maju Da Eiza, a callback to the dedicated Danger decks that tore up YCS Niagara Falls last year! His strategy wins by unleashing lots of big attackers in one turn, and the sheer amount of draw power makes it tremendously consistent.

The Sky Striker theme arrived almost a year and a half ago in Dark Saviors and ever since players have worked to hone and perfect the consensus build, overcoming knocks from the F&L List to create the quintessential consistency build we now know.

He was up against David Mendoza, fresh off several Feature Match wins today with his Danger Gren Maju Deck. The winner here would clinch a Championship Prize Card and have a shot at the title of YCS Niagara Falls Champion.
Every YCS weekend hosts two Dragon Duel tournaments, both awarding seats in the Dragon Duel World Championship Qualifier in 2020. These tournaments are a special competition for youth Duelists born 2006 or later and some of the greats have gotten their start as Dragon Duelists!
