After 11 Rounds of Swiss, and one of the most impressive Top 32 brackets imaginable, we have our winner!

These two Duelists both came up short in the Top 4, but they’re still fighting for a chance to get their own Super Rare copy of Anotherverse Dragon! They’ve both been featured multiple times this weekend and they’re ready to throw down.

Every YCS weekend offers Speed Duel fans not one, but two chances to win oversized and Giant-Sized cards, in Speed Duel ATTACK OF THE GIANT CARD!! tournaments! We now know the winners of the Sunday event, and with on further ado they are…

The Top 4 had arrived! Both of these competitors have one YCS win to their name: Koty Angeloff won YCS Secaucus in 2018, and Hani Jawhari won at Team YCS Lima alongside Arnold Nadaban and Cristian Urena. A win here in the Top 4 would place one of these Champions just a single Match away from their second Championship title. A loss would place them on the sidelines, out of the tournament entirely. 

Everything was on the line.

Dakota Angeloff from Tuscaloosa, Alabama is facing off against Gabriel Netz all the way from London in the UK! Both Duelists are well known amongst the most competitive circles and are extremely talented. Dakota is not only an NAWCQ Champion, but a YCS Champion as well. Not to be outdone, Gabriel has a YCS Top of his own and is hungry for more. We’re sure to get a masterclass in great play.

Every YCS weekend features two Dragon Duel tournaments: one on Saturday and one on Sunday. Then, on Sunday afternoon, the winners of both Dragon Duels duke it out for incredible prizes: a Dragon Duel Championship Trophy, a full set of Darklord YCS Prize Cards, and the title of YCS Dragon Duel Champion!

The Dragon Duel winners from Saturday and Sunday are facing off for the title of YCS Pasadena Dragon Duel Champion! Aiden Moneke is facing off against Connor Rosenstein. Both duelists are from Portland Oregon, so whoever wins, that beautiful Dragon Duel Championship Trophy’s coming home to the same city! Both Duelists made Top Cut of the Dragon Duel Championship back in Chicago at the 2022 North America Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG Championship , and are using their awesome mats here today, each featuring a ton of signatures from their favorite Yu-Gi-Oh creators!

The second of this weekend’s Dragon Duel tournaments has come to a close, and we have another four distinguished Duelists to celebrate!
