These Duelists put forth an amazing showing here at the 250th
YCS in Los Angeles. While they won’t be able to claim the title, one of them
can still walk away with the Super Rare Anotherverse Dragon Prize Card! It’s
Shunping Xu’s Runick Kashtira against Jacob Banuelos’s Floowandereeze. It’s
time to Duel!
This Feature Match is a battle of YCS Las Vegas Champions!
Adam Belohradsky, from Stockton, CA, won YCS Las Vegas in 2016 with Dracoslayer
Performapals. He’s facing Alex Cancel, from Houston, TX, who was one of the
winners of TEAM YCS Las Vegas back in February, playing Kashtira. Cancel is still
using Kashtira today, while Belohradsky is playing an extremely different Deck:
Traptrix!
We’re getting close to the Top Cut, and California Duelist Andrew Edwards is standing out as the best performing Rikka Sunavalon player. He’s facing off against Connecticut Duelist Paul Aronson, who won the North America Remote Duel YCS in February 2022. Aronson’s playing Kashtira this weekend. These Duelists need one more win in Swiss to secure their Top Cut spot. Edwards will certainly be ready for Kashtira, but will Aronson be prepared for plants?
We’re in the final Swiss round of the day for the 250th
YCS in Los Angeles! This time we’re featuring Adrian Gonzalez, from Chicago,
IL, fresh off a Top Cut finish at TEAM YCS Las Vegas. He’s using the same
strategy as then: Live☆Twin Sprights! His opponent is
Jonathan Lu, from San Francisco, CA, using the ever popular Kashtira.
We’re halfway into Day 1 here at the 250th YCS in
Los Angeles! First up is Cobi Tappa, from Chicago, IL, playing a Deck that
mixes Kashtira, Tearlaments, and Adventure all together. Combining multiple
engines to get the best of all! His opponent is Edgar Barajas, from Torrence,
CA, playing Sprights. The strategy is very much alive even without Spright
Elf, and he’s here to prove it.
