It all comes down to this! 2396 Duelists competed in YCS Philadelphia and only two remain! Denis Nadas and Calvin Tahan faced off only once before in their lives, and it was in the Top 4 of YCS Chicago back in 2019. Nadas won that Match and eliminated Tahan from the tournament, but lost in the Finals and missed out on his chance at a YCS Championship trophy. Now, Nadas and Tahan are paired against one another once again – but this time, the stakes are even higher because both of these Duelists are in the Finals! A victory here will give one of these Duelists a championship trophy and an Ultra Rare Anotherverse Dragon Prize Card, while the other Duelist ends his tournament run with a second-place finish. For the last time this weekend, it’s time to Duel!
Both of these Duelists already made appearances in Feature Matches today, and both came up just shy of punching their ticket to the Finals. However, Kanadiest Liu and Enzo Maximilliano Fiallos Velasco are still Top 4 finishers here at YCS Philadelphia, and that means they’ve still earned the opportunity to Duel for a Super Rare Copy of AnotherverseDragon. Only one of these Duelists is taking home a Championship Prize Card, so this Match is sure to be intense.
For these two competitors it’s time to Duel, one last time this weekend!
The Semi-Finals at YCS Philadelphia are here, and the stakes have been elevated to new level! Each of these Duelists are competing to get to the Finals of the YCS and vie to become the newest YCS Champion! Enzo Maximiliano Fiallos Velasco has Dueled his way to the Top 4 with Kashtira, and his opponent, Denis Nadas, is playing the same strategy. This Duel will test their experience and knowledge of the Kashtira mirror match, and put them in line for another Kashtira match-up in the Finals.
YCS Philadelphia’s quickly coming to its conclusion! Hunter Lloyd is playing one of the few Labrynth Decks remaining in the tournament, and he’s once again facing a Kashtira match-up! His opponent is Enzo Maximiliano Fiallos Velasco, who’s piloting Kashtira this weekend. Is Maximiliano’s Deck just another Kashtira match-up for Lloyd to defeat, or is this the Match that brings his tournament run to an end?
Omar Bsiso from Knoxville, Tennessee and Kanadiest Liu from Queens, New York made it into the Top 8 with a Super Heavy Samurai and a Kashtira Deck. Now they’re facing off in an elimination Match that will allow one of them to advance to the Top 4 and send the other one home. It’s time to Duel!
Shane G. and Ethan W. are both local Duelists from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. 15-year-old Shane won today’s Dragon Duel Tournament and earned the right to Duel against yesterday’s winner – 14-year-old Ethan – in this Dragon Duel Playoff that will determine which Duelist is the ultimate Dragon Duel winner of the weekend! There’s a trophy and a set of YCS prize cards up for grabs, so the stakes have never been higher for these young Duelists. It’s time to Duel!
We’re in the Top 16, where Isaac Kritz from Kensington Maryland is piloting his Dinomorphia Deck against Denis Nadas, from Dallas Texas, piloting Kashtira! The winner here will move on to the Top 8, while the remaining Duelist will be watching the rest of the tournament from the crowd: a loss here means the end of the road here at YCS Philadelphia.
Both of these competitors are eager to get to the first Duel, where Nadas would be playing first. It’s time to Duel!
The year is 2010. Synchro Monsters are all the rage, and the 75th Yu-Gi-Oh! Championship Series tournament in Edison, New Jersey is happening now. Tyler Tadeo from Chicopee, Massachusetts and Anthony Pascariello from Norwalk, Connecticut are here to relive the excitement from that time. They made it to the Finals of the Time Wizard Public Event, and now they’re facing off in a Match that will determine which Duelist takes home the Light and Darkness Dragon Game Mat. It’s time to Duel!
The field has narrowed once again here in the Top 32, and Duelists are making every play count: just a single misstep could knock them out of the tournament!
Denis Nadas is used to the pressure, having topped Remote Duel Invitations and last year’s YCS Minneapolis. He’s here in the Top 32 of YCS Philadelphia with Kashtira, while his opponent, Alex Mondlak, is playing the same Deck. We featured Mondlak earlier in Round 12 when he played against Gold Pride P.U.N.K., so let’s see how he fares in the mirror Match.
As a YCS Champion, Hani Jawhari’s no stranger to Top Cut competition. His opponent Nicholas Scarangella is no slouch either, having made Top Cut at multiple events himself. Both of these contenders would add this Top 64 finish to their list of achievements, but now that they were here there was nowhere to go but up. It’s do or die here in the knockout Rounds of YCS Phildelphia!
Jawhawi is piloting a Purrely Deck, while Scarangella’s made it all this way playing Tearlaments! It’s time to Duel!
