2396 Duelists competed in YCS Philadelphia and one of them emerged on top!
Congratulations to Denis Nadas for besting 2395 players with his Kashtira Deck and becoming a YCS Champion! He’ll be taking home an Ultra Rare copy of the Anotherverse Dragon Prize Card, an incredible trophy, and a bunch of other great prizes!
YCS Philadelphia’s quickly coming to its conclusion! Hunter Lloyd is playing one of the few Labrynth Decks remaining in the tournament, and he’s once again facing a Kashtira match-up! His opponent is Enzo Maximiliano Fiallos Velasco, who’s piloting Kashtira this weekend. Is Maximiliano’s Deck just another Kashtira match-up for Lloyd to defeat, or is this the Match that brings his tournament run to an end?
Omar Bsiso from Knoxville, Tennessee and Kanadiest Liu from Queens, New York made it into the Top 8 with a Super Heavy Samurai and a Kashtira Deck. Now they’re facing off in an elimination Match that will allow one of them to advance to the Top 4 and send the other one home. It’s time to Duel!
Shane G. and Ethan W. are both local Duelists from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. 15-year-old Shane won today’s Dragon Duel Tournament and earned the right to Duel against yesterday’s winner – 14-year-old Ethan – in this Dragon Duel Playoff that will determine which Duelist is the ultimate Dragon Duel winner of the weekend! There’s a trophy and a set of YCS prize cards up for grabs, so the stakes have never been higher for these young Duelists. It’s time to Duel!
We’re in the Top 16, where Isaac Kritz from Kensington Maryland is piloting his Dinomorphia Deck against Denis Nadas, from Dallas Texas, piloting Kashtira! The winner here will move on to the Top 8, while the remaining Duelist will be watching the rest of the tournament from the crowd: a loss here means the end of the road here at YCS Philadelphia.
Both of these competitors are eager to get to the first Duel, where Nadas would be playing first. It’s time to Duel!
If you’ve attended a YCS weekend yourself, you may have noticed a QR code posted around the venue. If you scan it, you’ll be taken to a survey where you can provide feedback to KONAMI, which helps them create bigger, better tournament events! And while helping the game grow is one thing, taking the survey also nets you an extra benefit: you’re automatically entered into a giveaway where the winner earns a Rescue Rabbit plush!
