At each YCS event, the winner of Saturday’s Dragon Duel Tournament faces off against the winner of Sunday’s Dragon Duel Tournament in a showdown that determines the Dragon Duel Champion of the weekend! 12-year-old Austin H. from Wisconsin and 13-year-old Jackson B. from Kentucky both competed in their first YCS Dragon Duel events this weekend and had tremendous success. Jackson won Saturday’s Dragon Duel Tournament to earn his invitation into this playoff and Austin won today’s event to earn a spot Dueling against him. Now, they’re facing off in one Match that will determine which Duelist takes home the trophy and a set of Super Rare Darklord YCS Prize Cards! It’s time to Duel!

Lucas Johnson from Muskegon, Michigan and Sebastian Rodriguez from Hialeah, Florida both have 7-1-2 records going into this final Swiss Round, and they’re both using interesting strategies. Johnson is using a Drytron Deck, which is a Deck that was once popular but hasn’t seen much recent tournament success. Rodriguez is using a Scareclaw Mannadium Deck, capable of putting up fields full of monsters that are capable of negating an opponent’s card effects. Each of these two Duelists will need a victory in this round in order to maintain any hope of a Top 32 finish, so the stakes are high. It’s time to Duel!

Dickerson, from Indianapolis, and he’s the sole Gold Pride Duelist in Day 2! This
archetype lives on the edge, paying lots of life for big benefits. He’s up
against Julian Harvey, from Chicago, playing a Dark World Purrely Deck! It
utilizes the discard effects of the Purrely Memory cards, along with Ken the
Warrior Dragon and Gen the Diamond Tiger, to enable Dark World cards.
Both of these Duelists have suffered two losses so far, so they’ll need to win
this Match for a chance to make it to the Top 32.

We’re in the final Swiss Round for the first day of YCS Indianapolis!
