This Round 3 Feature Match is showcasing a veteran of the
Konami Judge Program! We have Nathan Lawder, from right here in Indianapolis,
and he’s swapped out his black-and-white shirt for an Adventure Horus Deck.
He’s facing Adam Najarbashi, a Toronto Duelist using Branded! Will Lawder’s
judging knowledge carry him to victory, or will Najarbashi’s fearsome Fusions
foil his plans?
Welcome to YCS Raleigh! We’re kicking things off with Dakota
Cottrell, from Colorado Springs, CO, playing Branded Chimera! He’s facing off
against Richard Brown, from Florence, SC, using Phantom Knight Goblin Bikers! It’s
Fusions versus Xyz in this Feature Match, but only one can come out on top!
This Round 7 Feature Match is going to be a banger! We have two Duelists with 5-1 records and Decks that truly stand out against the expected field. First up is Haris Mirzada, from nearby Bristow, Virginia. Mirzada’s using an Adventure Plunder Patroll Deck with Synchros, Xyz, and Links, while getting extra advantage from the Adventure engine’s tokens and interactions.
His opponent is Gilles Thomas, from not-so-nearby Paris, France! He’s using a Dinomorphia Exosister Deck, looking to make explosive plays that lock down the field and Graveyard at the cost of his own Life Points.
We’re only halfway into the first day of YCS Richmond – there’s a ton of Dueling left to go! Here in Round 5 we have two New York Duelists squaring off in this Feature Match. First up is Steven Grillo from Albany, playing Sinful Spoils Rescue-ACE. This strategy’s seen as the Deck to beat right now, due to its combo potential, resilience, and heavy interaction.
His opponent is Devan Rodriguez, from Buffalo, playing Adventure Horus Phantom Knights! This Deck uses Horus cards as easy ways to discard Phantom Knights, and The Zombie Vampire offers even more Graveyard filling power.
We’re in Round 3 of the Main Event, with another Feature
Match! Carlos Pecina is from Houston, TX, using an Adventure Synchron Deck
featuring the new Revolution Synchron! His opponent is Jose Lopez
Zambrano, from New York, using Kashtira!
This Round 7 Feature Match pits two friends against each other! Michael Thomas and Joe Dietrich are both from Chicago and see each other all the time, but fate has brought them together in this not-so-remote Remote Duel. Thomas even borrowed cards from Dietrich for this event! He’s playing Adventure Spright, while Thomas is on Bystial Dragon Link. Friends or not, only one can win this Match!
We’re halfway into Day 1 here at the 250th YCS in
Los Angeles! First up is Cobi Tappa, from Chicago, IL, playing a Deck that
mixes Kashtira, Tearlaments, and Adventure all together. Combining multiple
engines to get the best of all! His opponent is Edgar Barajas, from Torrence,
CA, playing Sprights. The strategy is very much alive even without Spright
Elf, and he’s here to prove it.
